  • Just cruising when I see a BMW driver, trying to beat everyone to the lights and before they change. You can hear his engine revs next to my car as we are rolling. Massive amount of wheelspin from the TVR and still manage to get over 15 car lengths on that Naz! piece of sh!t.. I slowed down to the speed limit very quickly as well and was still miles ahead what a prat! 🤣

I know the feeling, I often get idiots in high capacity diesel SUV's trying it on with my Panamera Turbo.
I get it, the Torque makes them feel invicible but there's always a bigger boy on the block.

does the TVR have a gear shift beeper?
I thought that was only a Japanese thing...pretty cool little feature
These cars are so cool, the only thing that stops me from wanting one is they can bite your head off if you drive them too gently or push them too much

Haha yeh, they have a rev limiter and gear change buzzer, I don't believe the earlier cars had this and they, well... Blew up 😆
The thing is, they're race engines so mechanically they love being thrashed, but as long as they're well serviced but that goes for any car.
You do need to respect these cars indeed but they're pretty controllable but you must be on form when driving them hard at least. I am no racing driver but I spend hours on racing Sims, I have grown up around these cars and seen how people drive them, with power and steering inputs and I would say that is why I can do a burn out in second all the way up to the top end of 3rd without losing it, such as in this video.
Thanks for the comment and don't worry about buying one yes they're challenging but what they annoy you with they repay you in the amount of adrenaline they offer. All is generally forgotten. If you do buy they're generally sorted out with engine rebuilds however there are still some cars out there that haven't. Get a late 1998 car, and 4.5 AJP8 they're probably the most reliable of the AJP8 & 6 breed.. 👍
