Hi @MG Explorer Can you check your mileage once. I own Z6 for cruise of 100Kmph, i get 15 with AC on as well. Mine is manual transmission. I saw you get around 12.5kmph which i get inside the city. For any modes of Drive.
I get 7-8kmpl in City and 10-12kmpl on highways. Automatic 4x4 variants always run in Zoom mode so they aren't tuned to give mileage primarily due to these reasons: 1. Additional Weight of 4x4 system 2. Always Zoom Mode activated 3. I have AT tyres which impact mileage by around 1Kmpl. 4. I have a Roof Carrier and the metal underbody protection which are additional weight on the vehicle. All in all with Stock tyres Automatic 4x4 gives around 10kmpl in city & 12-13kmpl on highways. Manual Diesel 4x2 variants give 14-16kmpl on highways.

@@ashishniet i took bhubaneshwar-jamshedpur-ranchi-hazaribagh-aurangabad-varanasi route while returning. Hazaribagh to aurangabad highway work was going on at that time. Rest was all good 👍
Haanji bhai sahi keh rahe ho but 120kmph ki speed limit pe 80-90 pe kahaan chala jaata hai when u have go cover 800km in a single day. 😜 I drive as per speed limits tabhi mileage 12kmpl hi milti hai
Manual will give much better mileage as compared to automatic. Manaul mein u can get 15kmpl on highways with normal throttle. Automatic mein u get 12-12.5kmpl on highways at 95-100kmph.
Manual will give u atleast 2-3kmpl more than automatic. But driving automatic on hills will require way less effort as compared to manual. If you are concerned about mileage go for Manual straightaway without second thoughts

Bhai aap Pani ki itni crates kyon lekar jaate Ho? Unnecessarily gadi mein extra load - leading to less mileage. Pani to kahin bhi mil jata hai, 5 se 6 litre lekar chalo jab khatm ho jaaye phir le lo - just a suggestion 🙂
Bhai aise routes pe Bisleri nhi milta BILSERI milta hai phir 🤪 Plus paani extra hona chahiye gaadi mein so u don't have to stop every now n then and specially on N on new routes. Yeh lambi trips pe leke jaata hoon main not on smaller ones like 300-500Km. ✌️ Mileage toh Yeh gaadi waise hi nhi deti 😤.

Petrol manual will also give 9-10kmpl in city and roughly 12kmpl on highways. If your driving is not much or you don’t need 4x4 then petrol is a very good buy
