Yeah ideally the RPM should be below 1000 in case not accelerating. In the morning after the 1st crank rpm can go above 1000 but not often. Maybe the car ecu is trying to clean the DPF but when it does that usually rpm is above 2000 so I doubt that's the case. Get it checked once using OBD scanner.

Haanji have seen same issue in some other ScorpioN AT users. Usmein bhi same hard press brake then car band hoti hai. Restart pe issue gone. I think koi gearbox ka sensor issue hai but logs mein kuch nhi aata sabse bada issue woh hai.

Tata Safari is a good car but it is a FWD with lot of electronics. Tata mein jayda issues aate hain comparatively Mahindra ke. Plus ScorpioN is a RWD which outperforms every FWD in mountains and bad roads. Baaki dono test drive karo and then see what u prefer

Sahi mein. 1 I missed another negative point ki 2nd row sliding honi chahiye & 5 seater option do bcoz 3rd row is strictly for kids only. Also, 3rd row should be 50-50 split.

4x4 Automatic variant ? The maximum I have got till date is 13kmpl on my 1st roadtrip after 2days of delivery. Reason bcoz I hardly touched 100kmph on that trip. Otherwise even on expressways of 800km I have got 12.5kmpl only.

100% agree. Mahindra Tata mein always prefer lower variants with less electronics. Plus prefer manual gearbox. New models mein Mahindra ke beta testers buyers hi hote hain 😜

Front camera is only in Z8 L variant. Useful in tight spaces and parking. Ideally 360° camera should be there in such a big size car.

Petrol is a stress free buy but will give lot less mileage. If you are not from Delhi NCR then Diesel is more value for money ( considering you drive 2000+km every month). Diesel (specially in Delhi NCR) have 10years life due to which the resale is also quite poor plus there might be more restrictions in future as well. Buy accordingly after looking at all scenarios 👍

100% true. Fuel tank 57lt bahut chhota hai itni badi gaadi ke liye. Plus 4x4 variants mein modes hone chahiye the. Ground Clearance is good for normal offroading but Thar jaisi offroading ke liye ye car designed hi nhi hai.

I needed a proper 4x4 vehicle with no limitations on the electronics as well (that's why I did not even buy Z4 4x4 MT ScorpioN bcoz it doesn't have locking differentials which makes 4WL kind of very less usable). XUV700 AWD is a good choice for mild offroading or if u have to drive in fresh snow (since all tyres get traction) but it is not comparable with a proper 4x4 system plus it's costlier as well by around 2lakhs. Rear Wheel drive cars have a different feeling altogether. Once u start driving these, then no going backward. ScorpioN is the only n the best choice of a proper 4x4 SUV under 30 lakhs currently (until 15 Aug when Thar 5 doors comes in).

I am thinking to upgrade my car from Baleno to 7 seater car and I really like scorpio n bcz of it's look but gets bit confuse when I look for the techs available in XUV 700. Anyways there is still sometime to go for new car I will try to do some test ride and finalize. Btw I really like your road trips and video presentations. Keep going :)

@nisartaher252 Thanks bro. Yeah definitely test drive both XUV700 n ScorpioN to see which one suits your driving style as both although are in same price segment but are totally different vehicles. XUV700 being FWD gives u more stability and comfort on good roads whereas ScorpioN being RWD outperforms everyone on bad patches, mountains, offroad

Diesel 4x2 Manual is the best option actually bro if u don't need 4x4. Manual gearbox mein koi issues nhi aate and mileage bhi bahut badhiya rehti hai.

Go for it I am booking too might get this month end top end manual 4.4

90-100Kmph. I always follow the speed limits whether those are 80,90 or 120kmph. Have done sevral mileage tests almost 15 and the maximum average I got was in this trip only which was 13kmpl. Otherwise I get between 11-12kmpl on highways.

I have travelled to 12+ states until now and did not face any issues. Roof Carrier can be installed without prior approval or RC approval as far as I know. There is no provision to get it updated on RC as it doesn't protrude outside of car body so technically it's allowed.

Mahindra has given poor lights in these variants, does not give even slightest of confidence to drive in nights. And the issue gets bigger when the other cars coming from opposite direction are having strong after market LED bulbs. That's why I had to upgrade. Otherwise I never had to upgrade lights in my Brezza diesel. I always prefer these LEDs in terms of throw & overall Visibility. Only XUV700 has great lights from Mahindra.

Brezza Diesel was a gem with 0 issues 😄

I always suggest people to avoid buying diesel cars if u are in Delhi NCR. I bought it only bcoz I needed a 4x4 variant. We are the last generation to enjoy these powerful torque engines. In a matter of 5-7 years we might not see them so enjoy 😋
