My gf was born deaf, I know the alphabet and quite a bit of basic around the house type of ASL signs. If you do a paid course for signing like you do for fingerspelling I'd be all for it
Just curious if in the sign for "airport / airplane" is the hand gesture pushed forward twice like how hearing would clap syllables in speech like "air - port". Not sure if that's understandable. I'm kinda baked at the moment. However, if it works the same then I feel like I just had a breakthrough in learning ASL.
Actually, the double motion means airplane / airport, like noun... and then the single motion means fly, like verb. That's usual the same for other signs, double motions for noun, single motion for verb, like chair / sit for example... the double motion would mean chair (noun) but the single motion means to sit (verb).
