An erstwhile airport manager of Linate airport told me Aer Lingus pilots, of all the pilots coming into Linate, left the least amount of rubber on the runway (a big problem for maintenance). The aircraft at 4 mins on your video touched down 3 times! ...all that rubber left on the tarmac!
Just a load of Jet Junk. I remember Dublin Airport when we spotted planes like Viscounts, Vanguards, Argosy's, Britannia's, ALT98's, DC3's, NordAtlas from the French Air force, F27's, Hanley Page Herald and some jets like B707, B720, B727, B737-200, DC8, DC9, BAC 1-11, Caravelle, Trident 1, 2 and 3, Tupolov 134 and 154.
Thanks. When I dug out all these old tapes I was reminded of the variety we had then compared to today.
patcalutube what year was this.😊😉

Sorry, can't recall year but it was either late 90's or early 2000's.
patcalutube it seems to be from the late 90s
patcalutube I’d say 99 because that’s when aer lingus got their a330s
@patcalutube ya transAer went bust in Oct 2000
