This is super helpful. I work for Miele and I have a demo tomorrow with a client and it’s my first time demo-ing the CM6360. So yeah, this gonna help tons! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the overview. For me the tea feature is a significant selling point because it allows me to remove my electric kettle from my countertop which makes my kitchen that much less cluttered.
I would maybe prefer just a hot water feature that prompts you to select a water temperature but having a few programmable options is definitely workable.
This is the best review I’ve seen yet of a Miele Superautomatic. Thank you very much.
Wow, thanks!
Thank you for the video! It made my set up a breeze!
A good honest review now to taste the coffee
Party Mode pauses the cleaning phase in-between drinks so the “partiers” can enjoy the party without interruption. It also increase the screen brightness to max as well as the LED lights - LET’S PARTY!
Would love to see a detailed comparison between Miele 6360 and the Jura E8
Stepped up to this model for the ability to do Tea and Coffee as my husband is a tea drinker so one machine for both
Thank you for the video, very helpful. I've read the entire manual, was surprised it did not even explain what all the buttons do, had to go to the internet. One question, hope you can help. When you change the portion size, say for a regular coffee drink, it seems that all it does is just runs more water to get the size of drink but does not proportionally adjust the amount of coffee, thus the drink feels just diluted with more water to get up to the size you want. Is this correct? As it stands right now, my coffee from a plain old filter machine tastes better.
What are the advantages of buying this model over the CM6350? THANKS for this thorough video review!
Really the milk is the big change. A few more selections. We have a review of the 6350 here if you want to compare. ruclips.net/video/e1GUfdY_NoY/видео.html
How would compare Miele CM 6360 to "La Specialista Maestro Espresso Machine with LatteCrema Automatic Milk Frother, Stainless Steel - EC9665M"?
Excellent overview! Just got mine yesterday. Miele told me not to use beans that are oily…are your espresso beans used ok ?
Yes they are! It's our I.XXI 88 MPH blend - we roast it specifically for espresso and they are not oily :)
@@ecscoffeeinc OK thank you I will be ordering some. You had a really nice crema in your demo. Who is that a result of the bean? I am still fooling around with grind in quantity levels.
These beans are known to give a nice rich Crema, but getting the grind settings just right will definitely go a long way. Freshly roasted beans help too!
do you recommend this one over the older model 6350?
They are both good, the 6350 being discontinued and on sale in a lot of places may make it a better value. I found the 6350 to be good enough for my needs
I did not see the watter hardness set up which I though you talked about at one point in the video
In the price range under $5k what is in your opinion the best fully automatic espresso machine? I was pretty impressed by this one but you said jura was better.
Jura Z10
@@ecscoffeeinc Thank you! One more question. Only focusing on the quality of the espresso, which is the best? Still the Z10?
Jura has a non removable brew group. I have a giga 6, great machine but after a year the brew group was covered in moldy coffee grounds.
@@jmanajr since the brew unit is sealed, and you need to run cleaning cycles, how did you actually discover "mold"?
@@sucka231 I opened it up to clean it, something I highly recommend people with jura machines do occasionally
Are their major differences between this and the 6160? As that is all we have in 🇦🇪?
Not major when it comes to the quality of coffee. Just a few more users.
Miele cm6360 or Jura e8 for long coffee and lattes?
Hmm... Very tough decision! Maybe we will have to make a video comparing the two. We definitely love both machines!
Does anyone know if you can put matcha powder in this? (This is a big deal to my wife)
Not in the machine. No you cannot. You can put into the cup and add hot water from the machine
The default portions of these pre-programmed drinks is so small I thought my machine was broken. Do you feel you have to adjust the portion size paramaters for all of them? I did a cafe au lait and it was 4 oz of coffee.
How do you make Americano?
just long coffee with one shot ( 8oz with 1 shot)
Miele or Jura?
hmmmm. Jura.
Meile has a removable brew group, a huge advantage
I had 3 Juras (S8) in 6 weeks-they kept breaking. I switched to the Miele and have had no problems. Also, the Miele will make your coffee hotter, which is important to me. Otherwise they’re pretty comparable.
had the Jura ENA 8 - it was a disappointing experience. No spot to store the milk tube (or plug into the tray), forced (or highly encouraged) to go through the milk cleaning option after every use instead of having the unit auto rinse out the tube like on the Miele. Cannot empty the coffee pucks container if the unit is off since it'll throw the built-in counter off, so you have to remember to do it before shutting it down.
Coffee tasted a bit burned on the Jura --> I was doing side by side tests with my Miele CM6350.
On the Latte Macchiato test, there were no layers on the Jura for the final output. Really odd. Looked the same as their cappuccino drink. The Miele on the other creates a beautiful 3 layer Latte Macchiato.
Think I don't like about the Miele is how long the descaling process takes. 12-15 minutes and you need to be there to monitor the process to empty out the water tray and the container under the spout. I found the milk temperature to not be quite hot enough on the Miele as well, having to microwave the milk in a pyrex container for 30 seconds prior to the drink. Not a deal breaker but certainly takes away from the fully automatic feature.
Also on the Miele, to adjust the amount dispensed for each drink is basically done by eyeballing the your cup and the bar on the unit and just pressing OK when you think it's where you want it to be at, as opposed to an actual level (say, between 1-20, or actually measured in oz). Jura's adjustments on made in oz dispensed.
All and all, keeping the Miele and returning the Jura. I'm sure Jura's higher end model would be a more complete experience.
@@ecscoffeeinc other than cold brew on the z10, and the menu differences, why jura? The miele's seem feature rich and a self cleaning milk tube and storage is huge for me.
Man, I’m sorry to say that this machine had to many problems from the get. I think I’ll go with the Phillip 5400 thank you…..
What happened Robert?
i have 5400. 5400 had to many problems with every part of machine.
Like your vids but please stop saying Alexa so so many times. LOL My Alexa is going nuts.
Sorry....Just for fun though...say "Alexa Whisper mode"...and then whisper to it...makes it even weirder!
Enjoyed the video because you’re not an actor.
Meel-uh. There’s only one way to pronounce it correctly.
I would say it’s pronounced “Miller” but without emphasising the “r”.
@@sayyer10 It’s a german brand and is only pronounced correctly one way.
Why did Miele ditch the Americano recipe on the newer machines?
