Watching this in 2016 because they are still my favourites. One Tree Hill will forever remain my favourite TV show. It just had so much heart and so much depth, right from the beginning. Characters came and went and although there were some nasty characters, the sense of love, family and personal growth overarching the show never wavered, and that's what made the show so special. It wasn't just a typical teen show, it came with all sorts of messages that really resonated with both teenagers and adults. "There is only one Tree Hill and it's your home". ❤
I absolutely loved this show & watching this now makes me so angry at Mark for all he did to the lovely cast! A complete abuse of power that taints the show now. It will still remain a fantastic show & one of my all time favourites but I’m so disappointed and feel so bad for the female cast that had to endure this disgusting man’s behaviour!

WOW..James Lafferty is soooo quiet! Never imagined he was a "man of few words" compared to his character Nathan who is so outgoing and outspoken. But I like it, it's cool.. :)

I missed Lucas and Peyton when they left the show, but Clay and Quinn were amazing characters. They added that comedy that the show really started to need. Love the entire cast.

Mark thought he was such cool shit back then. Probably still does. To me, as a writer and creative person myself, it is such a profound shame that this mastermind (like so many others as we have learned) who put together such an amazing story of all these characters could not keep the bar raised higher for his wonderful ensemble instead of taking them for granted and thinking he was too far removed from reality and his own self-entitlement for criminal conduct. It is a true misfortune on his part and a shame that he never owned up to his misconduct.

A few things I will say about the legendary One Tree Hill. It made directors and writers out of some of the actors. It was as much about the adults as it was about the teenagers as the adult characters stole the show and were more unstable than the kids. Especially Dan Scott. Although Basketball was the backdrop, it was never the full centre piece which stopped it being a pedestrian Jock Prince led teen sports series. It neither glorified or demonised teenage pregnancy. But it made the idea of getting married young look almost too cool for its own good. It was quite action packed with alot of multilayered alpha females and multiple fights. When it came to family and love affairs, OTH had it all. With multiple sustainable love stories. Some had the happy ever after. Others didn't. Thanks to the masterstroke of skipping the college years in season 5, One Tree Hill managed to transcend its genre and blossoms to a fully fledged young adult drama and last for 9 seasons. An achievement matched only by the majestic Beverly Hills 90210 which lasted 10. And finally One Tree Hill was the true successor to and lasted 3 more seasons than the great teen soap legend that is Dawson's Creek.

I honestly have never loved a show more in my entire life. Now, I have fallen in love with shows but nothing compares to One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill was like part of me, I felt connected to it (not in a creepy psychotic way) but it was the best show in the world. I got SO into it and attached and never wanted it to end. I felt like I really knew the characters and it was so great. I will never forget One Tree Hill

You, (we), kinda were! 'One Tree Hill' is a kind of show that draws you in & makes you feel as though you were in it with them! It started when they were in high school (at a time where the actors/actresses, were growing up themselves) & those watching were too at the same or similar stages of their lives & so, in a way, it did feel like a family unit for us & them! ♥️🤗😥 It's more than just a show & for that, i will #always&forever come back to the show!

Oh my, I can't watch this without crying my eyes out, One Tree Hill was the best show ever! I remember when i was in middleschool, OTH would start 15 min after my last period, me and my bestfriend used to run like mad back home to watch OTH, we have watched all the episodes together from season 1 to 9, we watched the final episode together.. it was unbelievable that the show ended, It was my childhood, i grew up watching it! I love how weird Stephen and Rob and James are because that’s so refreshing. They’re just normal and odd and funny and clearly found their calling entertains us. My favorite moments in tv history include them all
it's been 11 years today since the first episode and i just finished the last one. Seeing this interview with all the cast makes me so happy, i wish i was old enough to watch it as it was released, it literally changed my life :) OTH is one of the best shows ever created

The fact that Dr Renee Vincent played Jimmy's mom makes this so much better. Personally, I think Paul Johanson, Chad M. Murry and Hilarie Burton should have been there too, as well as Moira Kelly and Craig Sheffer, but this seriously made me cry within the first 30 seconds. I'm so sad that this is over, but I am so happy I got to experience this.

i'm in love with this show, and even though it's over i will never be able to let go of it because i grew up with it since middle school and it give me laughs, advice, cries, lessons, and an escape from my life when i needed it. i'd just sit down and watch an episode online and it was what i needed to get me out of a bad mood. it just gave me everything and so much more you can get from a show. they say thank you to us but i truly wish i could tell them how much this show means to me

I'm currently in round two of binge watching One Tree Hill.. And the fact that I live less than four hours north of Wilmington is pretty awesome. The cast and crew of OTH and Dawson's Creek have all been here in the county where I live numerous times during production just to visit.
I can't believe that this epic show came to an end ! What a shame ... love the whole cast yet i still miss Luke and Peyton ! I believe they are incomplete without those two people !! You people were a huge part of my life ... will miss you always and cherish each and every episode
watching this nine years later after all of the accusations on mark really changes everything. how all the fans clapped and applauded him while sophia and joy and everyone else had to suffer through him for years.
I usually HATE when shows bring in new characters and some of the old cast leaves but honestly OTH is such a great show i'm so glad it happened the way it happened. Shoutout to Mark for making this all happen. The entire cast who was a regular or were there for some episodes are all beautiful people. It is my favorite show ever.

I remember the night One Tree Hill aired. When I was living in LA, my mom came to visit so of course I took her shopping at The Grove. The cast happened to be there doing something with Sunkiss. It was so cool, I think I still have pictures someplace.
I don't think OTH was ever the same without Chad and Hilarie. I wish they'd still been a part of the cast when it all ended. Nevertheless, I'll always love this show. It's always been part of my life. c: ♥

My 2 favorite shows are One Tree Hill & Buffy, it’s sad to know that both Mark & Joss Whedon treated their female cast members poorly, mainly Mark. He exploited Sophia & Chad’s divorce and sexually harassed Daneel/Hilarie. Glad Sophia’s career soared & Hilarie has a family with Negan.

I can't beieve this show took me from 5th grade all the way through freshman year of college. crazy to think that through all those years, OTH has been there.
I wish chad had never left the show. From what I know Hilarie wanted to leave because of creative differences, and as much as i loved leyton and thought it made the show if she wanted to leave they could've just killed her off when she had those health issues and kept chad on to end up with someone else (other than brooke because i liked her with julian) i guess mark wanted leyton as endgame...

When she talked about creative differences I thought it was talking about her being on without Chad which she wanted but the writers didn't.
The reason they didn't bring Chad back was because of money. There is a video on RUclips where Chad tells a fan, "They don't want to pay us," and tells her to write the show about it. Hilarie was let go because they didn't want to destroy the happy ending for Leyton. Davola said they ran out of story lines for them. Hilarie split from the exec producer's so, who worked on the show (along with two other family members) in 2008. Always thought that had something to do with it, but she's never said. Oddly, I am sure the rest of the Core 5 got more money going into the new contract. It's standard.
Beth Garland thats been proven false now...i guess maybe it was a cover story, but hilarie left because of mark making her uncomfortable. thats also why she didn't come back in s9 but chad did.
They should'vr had literally everyone from the show to be on this interview. So sad that this show has ended. They're still showing reruns which is amazing. But with this kind of chemistry they should've continued onto Season 10 and so on and so forth.
Hillary has said a reboot isn’t gonna happen given what occurred during the filming of the episodes,but they’ll have other kinds of reunions like none Tree Hill projects.
Just watching this interview made me realize that this cast isn't that close. Watching the show i seriously thought that they were much closer, especially after 9 years together. In comparison to the cast of shows such as The Vampire Diaries. When you watch comic-con you can't stop laugh because Ian and Paul are constantly taunting each other and making jokes. It's great...while this cast kind of lacks that freedom. After all, this is just my opinion. I love One Tree Hill, i grew up watching it and i think it's a great show. I love the cast also as individuals...i just had to point out that they seem a little distant.

Being on the show with Mark probably made the cast tense. When he talks you can see them looking at each other and non verbally communicating. Apparently he wasnt on set most of the time and when he was it was quite toxic.

Oh my, I can't watch this without crying my eyes out, One Tree Hill was the best show ever! I remember when i was in middleschool, OTH would start 15 min after my last period, me and my bestfriend used to run like mad back home to watch OTH, we have watched all the episodes together from season 1 to 9, we watched the final episode together.. it was unbelievable that the show ended, It was my childhood, i grew up watching it! Goodbye One Tree Hill, I will love you always & forever :'(
I love how weird Stephen and Rob and James are because that’s so refreshing. They’re just normal and odd and funny and clearly found their calling entertains us. My favorite moments in tv history include them all
it's been 11 years today since the first episode and i just finished the last one. Seeing this interview with all the cast makes me so happy, i wish i was old enough to watch it as it was released, it literally changed my life :) OTH is one of the best shows ever created

One Tree Hill will live with me till I die, basically. This show has been with me thru ups and downs in life n some hw i sort of depend on one tree hill for advice and what to do. One Tree Hill has been such a memorable experience for me. Sophia Bush... great acting and hope to meet you someday. Love everyone else too.

The fact that Dr Renee Vincent played Jimmy's mom makes this so much better. Personally, I think Paul Johanson, Chad M. Murry and Hilarie Burton should have been there too, as well as Moira Kelly and Craig Sheffer, but this seriously made me cry within the first 30 seconds. I'm so sad that this is over, but I am so happy I got to experience this.

i'm in love with this show, and even though it's over i will never be able to let go of it because i grew up with it since middle school and it give me laughs, advice, cries, lessons, and an escape from my life when i needed it. i'd just sit down and watch an episode online and it was what i needed to get me out of a bad mood. it just gave me everything and so much more you can get from a show. they say thank you to us but i truly wish i could tell them how much this show means to me

I'm currently in round two of binge watching One Tree Hill.. And the fact that I live less than four hours north of Wilmington is pretty awesome. The cast and crew of OTH and Dawson's Creek have all been here in the county where I live numerous times during production just to visit.

I usually HATE when shows bring in new characters and some of the old cast leaves but honestly OTH is such a great show i'm so glad it happened the way it happened. Shoutout to Mark for making this all happen. The entire cast who was a regular or were there for some episodes are all beautiful people. It is my favorite show ever.

I remember the night One Tree Hill aired. When I was living in LA, my mom came to visit so of course I took her shopping at The Grove. The cast happened to be there doing something with Sunkiss. It was so cool, I think I still have pictures someplace.

this made me cry so bad :'( i wish i was there. It put a smile to my face when they mentioned chad bcos i miss Hilarie and Chad and it seems like they have forgotten them. Its true tho there is no other tv show out there like OTH and a show like that should be shown on tv. And in the end I have learnt so much from this show and so have others and I am glad that a show like this existed. I have so much more to say but then it will be like a page long. My 2 favorite shows are One Tree Hill & Buffy, it’s sad to know that both Mark & Joss Whedon treated their female cast members poorly, mainly Mark. He exploited Sophia & Chad’s divorce and sexually harassed Daneel/Hilarie. Glad Sophia’s career soared & Hilarie has a family with Negan.

I can't beieve this show took me from 5th grade all the way through freshman year of college. crazy to think that through all those years, OTH has been there.
I wish chad had never left the show. From what I know Hilarie wanted to leave because of creative differences, and as much as i loved leyton and thought it made the show if she wanted to leave they could've just killed her off when she had those health issues and kept chad on to end up with someone else (other than brooke because i liked her with julian) i guess mark wanted leyton as endgame...

When she talked about creative differences I thought it was talking about her being on without Chad which she wanted but the writers didn't.
rprp1995 it wasn't that chad wanted more money, hilarie is the one who wantedto leave and then chad had stated that they weren't bringing him back.
The reason they didn't bring Chad back was because of money. There is a video on RUclips where Chad tells a fan, "They don't
want to pay us," and tells her to write the show about it. Hilarie was let go because they didn't want to destroy the happy ending for Leyton. Davola said they ran out of story lines for them. Hilarie split from the exec producer's so, who worked on the show (along with two other family members) in 2008. Always thought that had something to do with it, but she's never said. Oddly, I am sure the rest of the Core 5 got more money going into the new contract. It's standard.
Beth Garland thats been proven false now...i guess maybe it was a cover story, but hilarie left because of mark making her uncomfortable. thats also why she didn't come back in s9 but chad did.

They should'vr had literally everyone from the show to be on this interview. So sad that this show has ended. They're still showing reruns which is amazing. But with this kind of chemistry they should've continued onto Season 10 and so on and so forth.

Just watching this interview made me realize that this cast isn't that close. Watching the show i seriously thought that they were much closer, especially after 9 years together. In comparison to the cast of shows such as The Vampire Diaries. When you watch comic-con you can't stop laugh because Ian and Paul are constantly taunting each other and making jokes. It's great...while this cast kind of lacks that freedom.
After all, this is just my opinion. I love One Tree Hill, i grew up watching it and i think it's a great show. I love the cast also as individuals...i just had to point out that they seem a little distant.

Being on the show with Mark probably made the cast tense. When he talks you can see them looking at each other and non verbally communicating. Apparently he wasnt on set most of the time and when he was it was quite toxic.
