My daughters have biracial hair and I've tried all the tips and products the internet could offer and I just can't get it right. I finally decided to make an appointment at a salon that specializes in ALL hair textures and they were so welcoming and helpful and I now I feel 100% confident that my girls will be able to love their hair as they grow up. The owner of the salon was able to look at my daughter's hair, touch it, and she showed me how to use the right products. So advice from me is that if you have a hair problem and you aren't happy with the advice or service you're getting, consult a different professional!
+1 Ciaokes, I personally like it. I find it as one of the things that sets you apart. I love the hair tips and the videos you comment on the most. I personally don't always watch the compilation videos where you do not come on and talk about them, as I like to hear your insights and explanations. You have a great personality and are a great teacher. I have never been too interested in hair or styling. I am the type to get a haircut that allows me to wake up, take a shower, and at most brush my hair and leave. You have taught me several things that help out, especially having 3 daughters who are much more interested in hair than I have ever been. You have kept it entertaining as well, which makes it a joy. Thanks for all of your hard work, we look forward to seeing everything else you do. I hope shut downs don't hurt you too much and RUclips keeps you going.
I wish I could go back to the 80's to show my (straight haired) mom your clip on how to brush knots away without balding your (very curly) child and ruining a family at the same times... 😂😂😂
"Mabey I didn't eat enough fruit& vegtables..." - thank you for that great laugth! your videos are both funny and informative. SO helpful! I'm really happy I found your channel :)
The one tip about not doing layers on long fine hair is pure gold. I had long hair with layers...I swear to god, I'd braid my hair and the end of my braid would be thinner than my pinky finger. Now I have long hair with almost no layers and it looks amazing. And for volume I just use a bit of dry shampoo or volume powder...That way I get the best of both worlds...plus my hair is rarely greasy.😅
This is wonderful. You need to write a book and do a box set with a wet brush included. You can market it for teen girls and young women. What a gift I t would be.
Another option, to avoid knots in the morning is, to braid the hair in the evening. I, for myself, have ~90 - 100cm hair and as long as I can remember, my mother always braided my hair and so do I. The good thing is, that brushing is done easily and I don't have all my hair around me. That also a good thing, if you're not sleeping alone ;)
Hair Buddha. I love your saying "Ciaokes" so much....I am gonna start saying it to folks that I know! Perhaps, I will run into someone that also watches and enjoys your videos!...Givin' ya a "Ciaokes" all the way from Phoenix, AZ & "absolutely" loving what Cha do! 💕🤗☺️
One tip as a person who has had long hair my entire 54 yrs is to sleep with your hair twisted into a top not ,I just use a soft non elastic coiled band of a chop stick ..it prevents all knots & I get a deep wave in my hair all day ..your model funny enough has identical looking hair to my own hair which is comp!surely natural..I bleached & coloured for 30+ yrs from the age of 13 & gave the lot up 6 yrs ago & now have the hair I would have given anything for 40 yrs ago..how ironic hey ! Lol xxx I.love your channel btw
I also have a tip: if you have matted tangles (especially with long hair, they usually are at the back of your head), take some jojoba oil, and massage it into the tangle. Then slowly detangle gently with your fingers the strands of hair. Once all the tangles are gone, then you can use a comb or brush again. Another tip if you have very long hair and want to dry it quicker without using a hairdryer (which can damage your hair if you do it often), apply some jojoba oil on you hands and gently stroke your hair from top to bottom. Oil repels water. This way it will lock water into your hair (moisturizing treatment) and excess water will drip out of your hair faster.
9:30 Yes! The goal is to have soft, silky hair but then hair ornaments just slide out. Barrettes, hair bands, clips...a big pain. Thank you. My brush comes in the shower with me. Suds up my hair AND my brush.
I think it's cute, and both Dutch and Italian are living languages and thank you for explaining ciaokes, if it catches on you will have added a new word to 1 or both languages
Great tips. Is it possible to give some advice on hair colour and styles in your 50s for a woman. My hair is quiet long. It's fine but i have a lot. I'm starting to go grey quickly which doesn't bother me at all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. P.s I don't want to cut my hair short either. But I do need a few centremeters off. Love your videos. I know all about the children thing. Been there. 🤣🤣🤣
Do u suggest massaging scalp with silicone massager? I use one it has flexible silicone thick points on it its round ....i dont wash very often because i like better little dirty so i want to know if the massager is ok
I dyed my hair pink with a semi permanent color two years ago. My hair was bleached but I had about 5cm of roots (also blonde). The pink is long gone from the bleached part but I still have this pink stripe where my healthy roots were two years ago. I’ve done a bleach bath three times. It’s still very vibrant. How the hell do I get color out of healthy (ish) hair?
I decided one day to take a prenatal vitamin and vitamin B as well as Salmon oil. My hair is growing faster then stronger. I know I'm a it hallucinating. Also, a wide tooth comb is a necessity. My hair is long wavy, and silver. No more coloring. I'm lazy? Thanks for the bobby pin info.
Haha,☺️I always thought you were saying Chao Kiss-bye with a kiss. 😘 You probably know the Germans have something similar sounding Tschüss (chōōse) a familiar friendly goodbye. All ways I like and it’s special to you.😘
Ah mr Buddha. I would love to see your work, do you have any plans to show the master in action? Thank you for your tips. I don’t know know why this popped up today. Very helpful. I’m early 50’s, I’ve noticed When I’m brushing my hair that I’m losing more Than I used to. I lost my right leg to bone cancer, and my hair. It’s just about got to the length I had previous. Is it age that causes hair loss in women? The menopause or in my position chemo? I appreciate your input. I’ve been to Belgium, beautiful, who knows we may have crossed paths. Thanks in advance.
When my hair was waist length and longer, I found combing tips to roots early on. My hair is also the kind that tangles as soon as you get back to the beginning. One of my rare salon visits was made worse by a woman in a hurry who started combing my hair from the top. I asked her to please start from the bottom and comb in three levels. She gave me a nasty attitude for the rest of the session. I had booked an hour and we were done in 48 minutes. I don't know, did she not get her 15 min. break?
I have 3 brushes for my hair. The day my hair has been washed brush, the day after my hair has been washed brush and my going to wash my hair this morning brush. I find that cleaning my brushes is very hard, although removing the hair from the brushes isn’t.
I have very thick hair and it’s a natural auburn brown and they always have to thin it out and I do have a double crown part and I don’t know how to style it properly
Difficult one, there are Brazilian blowouts that are really bad for your hair. Straightening is not so good, but if you use heat protected products and a steampod then it is better...
Bitte weiter so.
The irony is that the more you colour your hair, the unhealthier it will be over time. The only way to achieve healthy hair long term is to ditch the dye, and only use direct dyes, without developer or bleach. Yes, you can't achieve many colors this way, but your hair will be thick, shiny and healthy. Ditch the dye!

I wish I could go back to the 80's to show my (straight haired) mom your clip on how to brush knots away without balding your (very curly) child and ruining a family at the same times... 😂😂😂
Your tip on brushing hair is so good! Why don't salon staff brush my hair out this way?

I would love to see a video on your portfolio so we can see your favorite/best haircuts you've done!!
This is wonderful. You need to write a book and do a box set with a wet brush included. You can market it for teen girls and young women. What a gift I t would be.
Fascinating, makes so much sense!!
Ciaokes is so cool.
Hi Hair Buddha, Thank you for the help.
That word needs to be a hashtag #️⃣:)
It's like we say, "buh-bye!" I like it. :-)

Hair school diaries: I’ll never forget the first time I was using a 40 volume with color and I accidentally got some on my forearm. Ouch! It burns!
🙈

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! Chowkus is JUST FINE! And like other commenters, the layers in fine hair.
Awesome video! Thanks!

Thankyou for your videos 🙏
Omg i just braided my bangs this is awesome
2.36 - 2.39 is my fav part ❤❤❤❤❤ you are so funny 😂😂😂😂
Can we please see your work in your salon??
Bonjour Monsieur Hair Buddha. Merci.
Hair products for the sun, I really really need this being in Australia and working outside.
My brush would be disgusting if I didn't clean it weekly. I can see it is dirty after a few uses, so I don't make that mistake, at least, lol.
That was wonderful!
9:30 Yes! The goal is to have soft, silky hair but then hair ornaments just slide out. Barrettes, hair bands, clips...a big pain. Thank you.

Massages are great.hair grows from scalp. Massage away!!!! Yout scalp says thanks
I always used to cry when my parents brushed my hair, my hair gets tangled very quickly and back then I had ringlets which didn't help
Yes. My mom would pull my hair when I was 9 yrs old. Long hair down to my knees and thick...ouch....
Wear a hat in the sun. Best protection.
Ciaokes! I was wondering toooo! How cool !
Mein papa war immer voll vorsichtig beim haare kämmen und meine mutter voll brutal🤣. Den ein oder anderen tipp werde ich mal zu herzen nehmen😊
I like the ciaokes! Please keep saying it!

Traction alopecia is no joke. My best friend wears a tiiiiiiiight tight ponytail every day and over the years the hsirline recedes
The word is basis not base. A base is from baseball ⚾️😄

What is a good shampoo brand,I have natural white hair?

I have 3 brushes for my hair. The day my hair has been washed brush, the day after my hair has been washed brush and my going to wash my hair this morning brush. I find that cleaning my brushes is very hard, although removing the hair from the brushes isn’t.
Baking soda soak brushes..combs too

Is it better to have a Brazilian blowout or to straighten everyday
Difficult one, there are Brazilian blowouts that are really bad for your hair. Straightening is not so good, but if you use heat protected products and a steampod then it is better...
I have fine hair and use a semi permanent 20vol. Is that ok? Regrowth only.
20vol and just the regrowth it fine. But if you don't want to lift (go lighter) then 10vol is better.
@@hair-buddha Many thanks, advice appreciated. I will definitely use 10vol from now on.
