I had to come to the realization that I was experiencing symptoms of depression because of the drastic downturn in my business. I was also a casualty of 2008, so I held on tightly to it for fear of losing what little funds I managed to get back since then. I didn't realize just how much I depended on it for my happiness until I had more and more free time. Time for self-discovery: Who am I at this age?. Time to re-invent and re-invest.. in myself. Love these inspirational/motivational chats. Keep your head up everyone; just a moment in time..a blip on the radar.

Now reports show The Great Recession started in late 2007! I was the same way!! That trauma from 2008 left a HUGE impression on me as well. I know you're in the voice space, but have you considered learning everything you can in the AI audio space and show companies how they can incorporate it into various customer service and training workflows?
Searching for a job for 5 months, I live in an expensive city in the West Coast and wishing to move to the East to be closer to family. Getting a job out of state is a nightmare. Currently working on a PM certification to increase my marketability. Thank you for this reflection.

Sister Cinnamon! Once again, you're addressing challenges that I'm currently experiencing. You're so on point and greatly appreciated for your vulnerability, authenticity, and courage! My goal is to move to Costa Rica (or Panama) in the next year or so but I relocated from Chicago to Las Vegas in the interim for health reasons. Two months after moving to Vegas I lost my job and have been diligently seeking employment since but to no avail. Talk about anxiety! I keep receiving rejections and it's taking a hit on my confidence but it's clear to me that the holy spirit wants something else for me. I keep receiving messages to REST but, honestly, that's unfamiliar to me. At 54 y/o, I'm in a season of excavation and deconstruction personally and learning to love Kim unconditionally. I don't know what's ahead for me but I do know that I can't do America much longer! Cinnamon, you are a breath of fresh air and your commitment to authentic community is beautiful!
