Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you and your family. Thank you for sharing this recovery. I hope that the company takes the recovery out of the guy's final check.

I seem to recall seeing the Factor 55 rope retention pulleys in an older video. Are you still using those or have you gone to good old snatch blocks? Ive seen the video on the yankum pulley and its problems but curious if the factor 55 creates the same rope melting issue.

We tested them out for a few months
And abused the crap out of them
They are the best option for a ring due to the fingers that hold the rope
But you still get an 8-10% friction loss
Where a good ole pulley block is closer to 5%
Which ain’t a super bid deal on simple 2-1s but we do a ton of multi part rigging jobs where every % matters
Can’t beat the performance or reliability of a pulley block
We just ordered a thermal camera and will be doing a heat test of several rings including the factor55 one to see what kind of heat is being put onto the shackle

@offroadrecoveryFL or he could've meant unnecessary because the jackazz in the van shouldn't have been on that road to begin with. Although he might just be a smartazz too. Lol. Nice video brother.
