If I'm not mistaken, both setups have the exact same components - only one has center mounted DD motor, the other off center mounted conventional motor. And that is what introduces the imabalnce. I'm not sure if in a conventional washing machine, the motor itself is not mounted on the damped mass, but even if it is, it's definitely counterbalanced, which they didn't do here to make it look worse. Any empty washing machine runs without the drum jumping around. It's the soaked clothes inside which cause that. All that being said, the DD is still much more elegant and quieter. The motor is quieter because it runs at lower RPM than the spindle of the conventional small motor (less whining noise) and it eliminates noise coming from the contact between the wheels and the belt (which is a lot of noise). The difference in noise level is staggering.
This is misleading .. the vibration is generated within the drum .. therefore if motor is attached to drum then it's momentum will also add up and thus the actual force on the shock absorbers should be more in direct drive motors .. so if the tension is same in both the suspensions then direct drive will vibrate more .. but yes it should be quieter since belt is not involved
Without the counterweights this vibration ist normal. If you ad a weight at the bottom of the drum, you need to ad a counterweight at the opposite side... this test is unrealistic
This is not true. It is not right for the conventional system to make such vibrations. I believe that the conventional system was deliberately installed in this way to make it vibrate like this ! It is marketing propaganda to promote their product.
This demonstration is correct. You see, the motor is attached to the drum, but its weight hangs on the bottom causing bounce where as the DD motor is on the drum for much improved balance. But, there will still be shaking as clothes will lodge on one side than cause imbalance.

Light vibration will be common when it is on load with water and cloths so both will work on same shock absorber or spring mechanism 's. if not remove those shock absorber s and test then prove it when it is on load.
I have 2 LG direct drive washing ms, both have less vibrations than ever seen. Of course the vbr is given by the unequal distrib of the load, but it vibrates less then that without direct drive and never "walks" through the floor. Simple practically observation

Now not only compact cassette player that using DD (to reduce Wow and flutter, better speed accuracy, and more reliable, because no belt, if I still remember, cmiiw), now washing machine use that too. I wonder where's LG get that kind of idea.
They should've run DD at 1400 rpm. It vibrates like hell. It almost equal to conventional in terms of noise and vibration. Maybe just energy consumption diff.
i dont like when the spin just start the drum very noise like dug dug dug and push the door noise also, but after normal spink the noise is less much. i realy want try new system centum like this.but i think the price very expensive
LG DirectDrive motor is quieter. It uses magnets instead of noisy brushes to power the machine. But trust your new inverter washing machine. Smaller vibration.

Direct drive is nice, but the inverter board will blow up much sooner than a drive motor machine will have a bad motor. I'll take longevity over noise reduction any day.

I'd like to see whether those shock absorbers have the same amount of damping ratio or not...

Yes but if they add counterweights to the opposite site, the vibration would be way less

These are both very nice clutches for cars

A direct motor like a hoverboard it creates great torque without using lots of energy.
It's called a brushless motor
My LG makes lots of noise. Nothing to do with the motor. I don't feel the DD is of benefit, apart from the 6 Motion wash action.
Good morning, can someone help me get that Lg mockup
right one broken shock absorbers..

This is just different amortization modules.

we have washing mashine with DD and it is absolutely perfect solution!!!
Id like to know how easy it is to service on a top loader.
A lot easier to service on a top load
Can anyone tell me where I can buy this demo model for business purpose.
Vibration less system that's why noise is reduced, I can relate it
Hi, I'm looking for a new washing machine, I'm not sure what brand or model I should buy. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
hello! did you buy one yet? if not, you should get an lg, my lg lasted me a really long time
@@washerstuff Hey! Thank you for replying! I've got an LG couple weeks ago and it's working pretty good!
i dont like when the spin just start the drum very noise like dug dug dug and push the door noise also, but after normal spink the noise is less much. i realy want try new system centum like this.but i think the price very expensive
if u think direct drive is quieter ur mistaken
6Motion DD Is the Winner
You cannot even fall asleep when your washing machine was making too much noise.
This is BS, conventional could tune properly to drive the drum without much noise as same as direct drive.
Good demonstration.
Conventional system can still get a higher speed like 1600rpm.
Some LG models have the 1600 rpm option
@@WasherMotors1400 I know.
i dont sure understand
bilmem
If conventional would be broken, yeah... Cheap trick!
I'm not sure it's not a toy for kids
Edit: WHYS THAT TING SHAKE LIKE CASEOH
Wow
Lavadora inverter direct drive

Fan belt no fan belt
Very good the inverter, but to much expensive and problematic

I will never bye dd. Motor anymore. Im only used 2 years but it so noisy! 96dB's
Conventional has a lot of shake, vibration and it’s so noisy that it hurts my ears if it were a real one.
❤❤❤I KNOW THAT!
If you have a washer that makes soooooo much noise, buy a new inverter washing machine to save your money.
While inverter motors are more quieter, energy efficient and reliable, the conventional brushed motor has more character.

P O L S KA!

😂 Bitter.
I see absolutly no differece. Expcept the motor . wich makes no difference

It's just a commercial stunt. In general, Conventional System is better than Direct Drive
Unloaded drum is a pointless comparison
Conventional no good!
PURE PLASTIC
Both suck really bad all new appliances are terrible
This comparison is rigged....
