I watch two groomers regularly, you and Girl With the Dogs. She uses an equigroomer to get all that hair. She's groomed quite a few huskies. I'm going to order one, an equigroomer 😁

It works well on my cats.
My dog is an Alaskan Klee Kai as well, but red and white. She is the sweetest, but the most stubborn dog I've ever owned. Pomskies are actually bred by Huskies and Pomeranians (the first round would most likely be artificial insemination until they get the desired size and then they breed the next generations together etc.), not with AKK's. Alaskan Klee Kai's are a pure breed that were originally bred between four different breeds of dogs in the 1970s. They are very unique dogs, and not for inexperienced dog owners as they are very husky-like, just pint-sized making them good for small homes/apartments. They do sing the songs of their ancestors just in a higher pitch.

@@dogsbylogan I am only 13, and have no prior grooming experience, but after watching you, (and girl with the dogs), it seems like such a rewarding job, and I have loved animals since I was like, 3. (Seriously, I was memorizing facts from the Kratt brothers since then) and dogs have always been a passion to me. And it’s not even about just the dogs, it is just so fascinating to me to see the grooming progress. It seems like something I might consider pursuing, and I just wanna say thank you :)
My groomer is well into her 50’s….experience counts for something….but I will be sure to send your sentiments to her. As a nurse in her 50’s I will be sure to suggest a new grad for care to you and your loved ones if there is a serious illness or injuries…because what I have learned in almost 40 yrs isn’t of value…ageism

What a cutie! Reminds me of my fur baby I had to rehome in Alaska when we moved out to hot California (she ended up in a DREAM family rest assured)! People would always ask if my husky was a Klee Kai. No, just runt of the litter! She had one blue eye and one half brown/blue and was barely bigger than this one here - just fluffier.
She ran into the family’s backseat, plopped next to their baby, my pup looked over at it, gave it one big but gentle pup smooch, and waited to “go home.” My girl knew she was joining not only a family but they both worked a local (Alaska) vet office and came with a handsome husky boy she was instantly head over heels for. Thanks for the memory! I bet Evie Lynn led the best life, she’d be about 14 human years now.
PS, a Klee Kai will set you back at least $2000.
Huskies are double coated; their fur allows them to be cool in the summertime and warm in the wintertime.
One time I saw a very tiny Klee Kai and the owner said the dog was a pom Klee Kai cross. Klee Kais are a purebred, but they were bred from poms, huskies, schipperke, and American Eskimos.
No Pomeranians are in AKK bloodline. It's Alaskan Husky, Siberian Husky, American Eskimo, and Schipperke. But AKK's come in standard, miniature, and toy. You probably saw a toy AKK, or the owner got an oops dog or something. lol They can be very small and are very cute. Mine is technically a mini in height but weighs only ten pounds. They are cuties.

I love Klee Kais! I used to work at a doggie daycare and we had a regular Klee Kai named Clipper. He was the literal embodiment of a husky in a tiny body except he would menacingly stare at you 😂

I LOVE “grandma” fragrances. They’re usually powdery, which is lovely, and reminds me of going to the theatre, when you could smell the scent of the stage makeup, wafting out from the actors under the bright, warm lights.
Younger people raised on a never-ending conveyor belt of ghastly fruity florals have unsophisticated noses. 😄
And all the candy fragrances. Enough already!

I own a Klee Kai! OFC I know about Klee Kai’s! My dog Ruby is ALWAYS mistaken as a baby husky. The breeder we got Ruby at gave us a leash that said “I’m an Alaskan Klee Kai” so people wouldn’t mistake Ruby as a husky. Ruby is stubborn but in reality they’re awesome! This video makes me feel awesome knowing that somebody is aware of the Alaskan Klee Kai community and the breed!

A pomsky and a pomklee are two different breeds. I am getting a pomklee sometime soon. Also yes pomskys are pomeranian husky mixes, hard to believe I know.

As for your comment about smaller pom huskies, thats usually a "multigen" dog thats 75% pom. Pomklees exist though! Theyre super common in the pom fb groups.
Mini husky breeds seem so worth it though if bred CORRECTLY and im mostly meaning klees, theres not a ton of good x breeders sadly minus in lurchers. I have a rehomed mini husky (we think shiba x pom x husky or klee kai) and he is 🥺mwah. Hes such a good boy.
Yes I did know this they are so cute I wish they had a teacup husky! My baby yorkie recently passed away a month and a half before his 14th birthday im still absolutely heartbroken by it 💔 I miss him so much even tho it's been a few months I still cry regularly because I miss him so much 😢
I am a breeder of siberian Huskies. I have an FCI recognized Kennel. this dog is not to call "siberian husky", cuz is only an crossed dog from differently breeds, included Siberians. Huskies they must NOT ABSOLUTELY have the tail rolled up on the back, they must be tall (get with the back to the thigh of a person), otherwise they could still be called Siberian rats.
but, in the same, you are a very good groomer.
"Usually huskies aren't the best" for nail trims is putting it VERY nicely. Most Huskies hate it.

It's kind of like how Shelties are basically just mini Collies (Lassie dogs).
Just a heads up, Klee Kais were bred to just make a cute small husky looking breed. It started in the 1970s. The woman who made the breed is quoted as saying she "bred the best and culled the rest". Cute as they are, the founder of the breed killed a lot of dogs just to make a cute dog breed.

Just FYI, the first time I ever watched one of your videos, you said bye to the dog in that scary voice and you scared the f*** out of me. Seriously, I was a little traumatized. Now I expect it so I turn down the volume, tense up, maybe put a little distance between me and my tablet, so it's fine, but an on screen warning "scary voice coming" would have been nice.

So Pomskis are actually a mix of a pom and a husky, however there is no breed standard for them so Pomskis can range from the size of a pom to a full blown husky. But I feel like the larger ones just get confused with Huskies or Malamutes so the owners probably just call them that

My boy was an Alaska Malamute mix! Shedding boy I could fill up 2 large trash bags full of hair from his comb sessions at change of winter to summer.
