    We have all seen our mother’s cook with no measurement but with “kannu kanakku” and even when they say us the recipe most of the times it’ll not be the same as theirs. This recipe with exact measurements help us achieve the perfect thokku the very first time itself. Made the thokku yesterday and waited patiently for 24 hrs and relished it with curd rice. Perfect combo. Thanks Neeru for this recipe

    Good evening ma'am. I tried your tomato thokku recipe and it turned out amazingggggg!
    So much of detailed tips vera! I wanted to prepare tomato thokku and keep so that I can use it as side dish or to prepare rice for lunch thinking shelf life is longer and it will come for many days.
    Àana my family had other plans. It's not even two days and the entire thokku is about to be over! It was semma tasty! Thank you so much!!

    Hi Neeru, Tried thokku receipe with 1/4kg tomatoes. It came excellent. Must try receipe for thokku lovers and very easy to make. I made without garlic. Taste is awesome.

    There are so many procedures snd steps in making this thokku. So I was reluctant to try this. But finally one day I tried this and the output was awesome. All the efforts worth worth. Enna taste enna flavour. No need to make chutneys. But for thokku best goes with poori

    Hi Mam. Tried your tomato thokku for the 1st time and it turned out to be awesome even without garlic.
    Super quick than what I used to do in kadai.
    It took me max 6 mins for the tomato to become mushy and it didn't even burn the pressure cooker bottom since I used the heavy guage stainless steel pressure cooker. Kudos to you 🫶

    This is a thank you post akka. I’m in second trimester now but I had a very nauseous first trimester, but somehow I made this and this thokku was a saviour, I have made thokku with this video lot of times before too. But in my first trim I understood the value of it, I never liked to eat anything. Ida vechu daan I ate most of my meals. Reduced some mirchi so that i don’t get acidic. But man, I’m very grateful 🥹 thanks akka

    Very detailed and no fail recipe mam👌👌👌.. the way u explained the steam concept helped me to get the correct consistency without burning.. oil quantity next time I have to adjust due to the tomato variety I got here.. thanks again for giving us a proper recipe after u simulated Many possible errors .

    Deae Neeru, I tried the Thakkali Thokku receipe and it turned out extremely well. Thank you for such a detailed and precise explanation. I loved the taste of the roasted and grounded mustard and fenugreek seeds.
    I did in an open pot, It took longer but the taste was awesome 👌

    First attempt watery ah pochu even after 2-3 whistles, thol was separated and i literally had to blend it, then I pinged neeruka, she suggested to switch tomatoes and I went for better ones like her video ones and the result was perfect - same procedure , same measurements, thokku is now super hit 💐🙏😍
