Another fantastic product review. Your production costs must be over the top, your intro was right up there with Sony or Paramount pictures production! I’ve been using my iPad and my Huion 1060Pro for a few years now and I had to get used to different styluses as well. After a while though it’s a natural transition…..although drawing on a screen (iPad) to drawing on a tablet looking at a screen is still so,etching I have to deal with! Will check out the links to the product reviewed……might time to upgrade to a screen tab!
For the longest time I was preferring the drawing tablet over screen tablet. Aside from your hand not being in the way it is also more ergonomic if your head is looking straight forward.
I bought one of these a couple of days ago - i have been on the fence about it, like, whether i should keep it or not. After boxing it up a couple of times and unboxing it a couple of times, I've decided to keep it. It's compact, laminated screen, the pen is nice and really for the price, you can't go wrong. Also - I LOVE your art - it's brilliant - It makes me want to do more art :)
The 13HD has around 2000 levels of pressure and uses dated Wacom tech with a bit of screen parallax and is mostly a display is sub HD. The Ugee 16 has 8000 levels of pressure, is IPS, laminated display with 1080p or 1440p. Wacom used to be the only display and tablet manufacturer back then. Now Wacom has competition and that is great for the consumer. I also like how slim the Ugee display is. Also the Ugee looks like the Cintiq pro 16
The laminated screen and slick styling makes it a better feel than the Wacom for sure. As I said might be just a setting up issue and a me being so used to my old pen display.
Yes definitely, sometimes I switch back to my old wacom because I like to use the UGEE for travel. WIth the appropriate USB C cable it can get both data and energy from the laptop so all I need for it is that one cable which makes it perfect fro travel if I have do to more serious work. But that is a very good deal congratulations!!!!
@@robertlkiss Thanks for the response! Yeah I can't find the cable on amazon here in europe, so i will have to order that from ugee's website if I decide that i like the display. But It gives me great confidence that i made a solid purchase that someone who does serious art still uses this. Love your art btw!
How do you configure the tip of the pen to be in the same position as the pointer? Because where I put the tip of the pen, the ball that marks you to paint is about 5 cm away and I can't figure out how to configure that, could you please tell me?
I bought it off Amazon years ago I'm not sure you can get it. But I am going to replace it soon with this: www.amazon.nl/gp/aw/d/B08B8X4KBV/ref=ox_sc_act_image_3?smid=ATCTQCVJ3PM1T&psc=1 And this: www.amazon.nl/gp/aw/d/B07H8CK2QJ/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=A10M4JKGH5TIAB&psc=1
@@robertlkiss Hey man, great video! Did the replacement go well? I'm also heading for a solution like this but am not sure if the arm is gonna cut it in terms of stability...
@@royalwagen I have been constantly traveling for work and it seems like the rest of the year is also going to be full of travel so I decided to postpone the purchase.

I just ordered this pen display on amazon for 145 euros during black friday. Do you still use it? I bought it based on your review.

You're so talented! I love to watch your drawing process.

Nice video! Where did you get the stand your resting the monitor on?
I am resting my momitor on my old wacom cintiq 13HD which came with a stand. And I bought a laptop stand to elevate the whole thing
Ayooo!! Love ur vids Robert!
Thank you Maddie ^_^
That seems like a very ergonomic setup. Could you share a link for the laptop stand you're using? Great video as usual.
