I believe you said he has to pay $3 a minute when you call his cellphone. Is it possible for you to call him using a recorded message telling him an 'agent will be right with you' and leave him on a seemingly endless hold??
Wouldn't it be better to go after the scammers' money and bank accounts, than just destroying 1 computer.
These scammer work in "boiler rooms" full of PCs - all the money they steal goes onto 1 bank account, why not change passwords so they cannot use these accounts anymore.
Then you can shut down ALL of these crooks
When you tell them you've deleted all of their files PLEASE tell them " I have deleted each and everything". That would be comedy gold right there.
