I love and will use the very Simple Idea of creating a R and L on Paper!! SO Simple but smart.. Especially for Medfords.. Thank you BTW The CRK Fluorinated Grease is my #1 Fav Especially for PB Washer Bearings. ! its expensive to buy as well.. that little tube is $15 and like 5 grams is $30 but its worth it.
Good video. I've never had mine apart, but when new it was SUPER stiff. I kept fidgiting with it and now its smooth as glass and dangerously drop shut.
Funny you should comment on this video now. I actually bought or traded for this one from the owner, then sold or traded it back. This week, i got another. It's smooth, but I know it will get better with time.
@@chucknunface The On Belay is the only Medford in my collection. I'd like to get a Terminator DP-187. I flipped one at Blade Atlanta this year but just couldn't swing it. I'd done spent all my money. Hahahaha Maybe next year.
Nice work! I love to hear the teflon tape suggestion, that's something I use a lot! And the pocket clip screw arrangement in the handle is pretty cool, no chance of stripping titanium threading
A guy on Instagram turned me on to that idea - interesting to learn you use it too. The pocket clip screw Sydney implement is fiddly, bit it doesn't need to be adjusted for normal maintenance
Helpful internet content. Thank you.
Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it.

Thanks, man! Just a simple organizational trick
Good vid, man. Very helpful
Great! Glad you found it informative

@@Mainrollman you'll get another chance😉
Man I’m kinda embarrassed how nasty that was. Thanks for taking care of it. Much appreciated 👊
It was dirtier than I thought it would be🤣 Always good to see a nice that gets some carry and use though.
@@chucknunface and yes you were correct in your guess that I had oil in it too but it was actually honning oil
I work in a machine shop. It was kind of an accident and I left it on a machine
@@satudave makes sense. Might be some dlc wear as well

@@chucknunface I've used it a lot on hinderer pivots especially, they have such large threads sometimes they don't like to stay in place
@@NocturneKnives I've found it's a good alternative to loctite in many situations.
Great video Chuck and a good looking knife!!!
Thank you, Greg! I may need to get one of these at some point.
Nice video bro🍻 Need more Medford disassembly videos
Thanks, mani! I should have done the slim midi to show the bearings. But it's nothing amazing, just not pb
❤❤❤
It was a dirty one lol
Very nice video. What tool is that, that you used to loosen the pivot?
I use the tool that comes with the Olamic Wayfarer 247. If it's not locktited in there to death it works fine.
Where can I order that tool sir?
There's plenty of places to order Medfords: DLT, Knife Joy, etc
Question where did you get the tool at. I need one.
You may need to buy an Olamic knife - comes with it. But you can fashion a spanner tool
