I was a school nurse. The BEST! I left because I was a new grad RN and I wanted to expand my skills. Other low stress jobs include PPEC, endoscopy, and peds home health.
Nice video📸❤ I just failed the NCLEX, I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling. I'm confident that I will be a good nurse. I just need to get past this, move on and persevere
I left hospital nursing for a low stress nursing job and I LOVE IT!!! I think it's only in CA but a laser tattoo removal nurse Pay is less but worth the 9:30-6:00pm very low stress and people are Fun to work with! have Sun + Monday off and short day on Sat couldn't ask for more Happy Nurse here
I was a school nurse and loved the job! Pay is on the lower end, great benefits….only downside was government politics, no support from your supervisor and principals who want to tell you how to do your job! I had one during Covid who wanted me risk my medically compromised students health to have them in the same room with someone waiting on the results of a Covid test. Needless to say they were not happy when I said NO and made things very difficult. I chose to go elsewhere😢 I really loved my 👧👦🏽
I am an LPN of 24yrs. Completely burnt out. I have been doing SNF. Worst job ever now! Hopefully I don't give up totally but the anxiety and stress are destroying me.
post partum is easy af BUT the nurses i knew were complaining because they kept getting called off and barely got any hours, unless you're in a hospital where babies are born alll the time. Also being an educator is stressful, most of the professors in my school seemed veryyyy burned out and have horrible attitudes.
I left bedside to do CM. I'm ready to go back. Not only do you have to deal with administration throwing you under the bus, patients are mostly unhappy about being discharged from their hotel, ahem, hospital so they threaten CM all the time with bodily harm (last week, someone threatened to put a bullet in my coworker's head, and this is Texas where EVERYONE has a gun). CM are literally the face of the bad guy (my hospital actually posts photos and contact info in each room). And you would be appalled at how many people try to PERMANENTLY dump sick elders in hospital, until you call APS.
Hi! When I was a nursing assistant before becoming a nurse I floated to a bunch of units including PCU and thats when I found out I never wanted to be a nurse on a PCU or med surg unit! I think youd learn A LOT but the patient population and floor nursing was never for me! I love being an operating room nurse.
School nursing is extremely stressful! You are constantly fighting with admin who believe that they are in charge of the nurse. No boo! Nurses are in charge of nursing. Stay in your lane! There are many unstable type 1 diabetic children that I had close to zero training dealing with. You're responsible for ensuring that the ENTIRE school is in compliance with their shots and physicals, field trips, etc. It's alot of work for one person😢

Ahh I've always thought about school nursing! Maybe one day!! Thanks for adding on!

I'm just pretty sure i failed the NCLEX i just took last week. Feel so down and I'm scared to use the quick result service
Well I've taken the exams for the second time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it.
You will pass everyone has their own season just keep praying and believe you will receive

I have been in case management for 15 years. Definitely VERY stressful 😮
I've been in L&D, ER, and OR, and wouldn't classify CM as low stress lol
@@melissabrown550 I'm in CM right now. Only about 6 months in, I'm already about to quit.
I recently left the Operating Room way too stressful 😩

I really liked postpartum as an LVN back in the day.
I’m surprised IR/INR Nursing didn’t make the list ! The IR/INR nurses seem pretty chill ☺️ I have IR nursing in my interest 🫶🏼
Hi! I couldn't add everything but thats def a low stress job as well! Thanks for adding on!

I worked as a case manager and it is very stressful.
Did the 80k salary in your first year include any overtime?
Postpartum can be stressful too
Those salaries definitely seem higher than normal.
Hi Lisa, where do you live? Being close to NYC def has an advantage on salary.
I live in Texas.
Dialysis nursing is a good job
Agreed 100%!!
Have you worked in Pcu? Please share if you have any advice!! 🙏 thank you!!

Just so people know, cruise ship nurses don’t pay for rent or food.
Interesting, I did not know that! Something to think about! Have you worked as a cruise nurse?
No, I haven’t but that is the case.
