In HOI4, you don't need to ask "what air defence doing?", as you are in control of it, can not worry about the Javelins, as they haven't been invented yet and can actually finish the war in 3 days! The Fascists were called 'Black shirts' due to their black shirts they were wearing.

@Kings and Generals Thank you for this video, it's very informative and helpful, thank you for that. I have a suggestion which you can do later on, can you do a video based on the Lake Khasan 1938 just like you did with the battle of khalkin Gol 1939? It'll be beneficial for the context of the Pacific War series which helps to explain why the Japanese didn't invade Soviet Union, especially when Germany invaded the Soviet Union in 1941. Thank you once again for the video, and please let me know soon what you think.

Ethiopian history is probably one of the most underrated histories of any nation around. At least with other “underrated histories”, like with Eastern European countries or Persia or the Aztecs/Inca, they get brought up in discussions about countries with underrated histories. But Ethiopia’s history is a truly wild ride from start to finish, and it never really gets brought up since it didn’t have a massive impact on European society. (Of course, it’s understandable that North Americans and Europeans would pay the most attention to North America and Europe, but it still means you miss out on a lot of cool stories and events from elsewhere.)
If you ever find the time, I’d highly recommend at least skimming the Wikipedia page for the History of Ethiopia, or reading about some of Ethiopia’s emperors, such as the guy who was made emperor despite having no political experience and being raised alone in a monastery and then proceeded to solve every military and religious dispute the country had (Zara Yaqob), or the guy who converted the entire country to Catholicism for like 10 years (Susenyos), or the guy who was coronated and deposed six separate times (Tekle Giyorgis I). There’s a lot of hilariously improbable tales of survival and ridiculous wars that match the Italo-Ethiopian Wars in their vibe, so it’s definitely worth taking a look in my opinion.

Something interesting about the other list of things the League of Nations was involved in was how the Italian invasion of Corfu was resolved
Much like the Italo-Ethiopian war, it completely favoured Italy when the conflict was resolved, even though Greece was never at fault (or proven to be) for any of it
It started because an Italian general, Enrico Tellini was helping Albania and Greece defy a border in 1923, but was killed by unknown murderers in Greece. Italy used this as a reason to invade Corfu when the Greek government's response was not one to Italy's liking (for example refusing the payment of 50 million lires)
Greece got the rough end of the resolution when the League told Greece she had to pay and enact certain events that would signify apology for Tellini's murder, despite the cause of his murder never truly being identified. Just many examples of the League favouring bigger nations and disregarding smaller ones because all they have to do is threaten to leave the League or something akin to that
    Great video as always

He jumped to his feet and shouted: "To the door with the savages!". After that the Italian journalists were thrown out of the room in order to let the Emperor of Ethiopia continue his speech.

Notably absent from this list is any of the numerous atrocities committed by the British or French in Africa and Asia during this same time. Troops of the Raj fired indiscriminately on a peaceful crowd that consisted of men, women and even children, until they ran out of ammunition. And this happened on a white man's order. He even made sure that there was no way to escape.
Apart from this you had the standard racism in all aspects of life that the British showed towards the Indians in their own homeland. But this wasn't anything special that happened only in the 1920s. British rule in India was still a form of systemic plunder during this decade. And the false notion of "Britain giving democracy to India" when in reality not a single Indian had the ability to vote for their government : they were subjects of the empire. The reality is India adopted democracy after the British left, and decided to uphold it unlike some of the African nations.

Sounds like by turning a blind eye to Italy the League of Nations unintentionally set the course for WWll. M.Night Shaymalan would not see that twist

the invasion of bulgaria was an incident which was ironic because it started by a dog crossing the border and his master a major tried to found him and he go shot by bulgarian troops and that sparked the invasion the involvent of the un was mostly symbolic because both sides knew what was all about

    Ah yes, good 'ol appeasement.
Ethiopia was thrown under the bus by the League of Nations. The Anschluss was allowed to happen. Czechoslovakia was told to give itself up to Germany because the other countries did not want war. The Czechs needed to pay for it while others were supposed to reap the benefits.
