Hey there, I'm Razia. I'm a small RUclipsr from Sydney, Australia. I make videos all about skincare and general lifestyle content. I'm a self- taught skincare enthusiast and I love sharing what I learn with everyone watching. I hope to share some valuable content on these topics for you all, as well as fun lifestyle content.
Hey everyone! I just want to apologise for the lighting in this video. It was very overcast when I was filming and my lighting setup isn't ideal, so yea pls excuse the horrible lighting 😅
It’s the content (which is always so interesting) that counts.
This was a really helpful video. It's so good to have an Australian skin care youtuber :)
I'm glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
I really like Hyram and I’m happy for him however I’m not too drawn to these products. I’m sure they are nice but not revolutionary or intriguing enough for me to consider purchasing them in my opinion. Keen to see his future launches though.
Yes I agree. They're quite basic and I think aimed more for those that might be new to skincare. There's a sunscreen in the works I think so I'm definitely keen for that!
@@raziamoe me too! Let’s see if it can replace my ultra violette.
I was looking forward to your review! Thanks for getting it up so quickly ☺️
Of course! I hope it was helpful ☺️
"there are bigger things to worry about in the world" so true I completely agree, the loss of a loved one to Covid is far more distressing than the disappointment in an influencer brand, thanks for the honest thoughts and feelings and the lighting looked fine for me
Haha right. Its just another influencer brand, no obligation to buy so just move on lol. There are far more problematic influencers out there to get all upset about anyway 😅
Really nice video ! You got straight to the points and just told it like it is, I really love that. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for watching ☺️
@@raziamoe you are most welcome 🙂
I love your channel! 🤍
I’m most interested in the serums. I feel like the brand is mostly targeting acne which is not a big concern for me in my 30s. I’m hoping the retinol would strong enough.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you try it all out!
Yes the serums are definitely the highlight! Its a very gentle retinol so can be used daily and maybe that could work!
I'm looking forward to seeing how they work as well 😊
This was a great video, really well put together and it’s great to watch an Australian skincare influencer 😁❤️
Thank you Lana! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
I really like the video, very informative. I just wish the products but were a little bit cheaper and how it could be accessible in other pharmacies brands like chemistware house rather than sephora
Thanks for watching! Yea the price point is higher than we were expecting for sure! Inkey is stocked exclusively at Sephora so makes sense for Selfless to be there as well. Makes worldwide distribution very easy.
I really appreciate you doing this honest review and I feel like your review is more honest because (from my knowledge) you aren’t friends with hyram so your opinions aren’t biased. Also tbh imma just stick with my cerave cleanser, cerave moisturizer, and spf 50. That’s all you really need🥰🤍✨
Thank you! Oh dont worry Hyram doesn't know I exist hahah. Yesss cerave is so good!
Your skin looks great
Thank you 🥰
Please review “hey bud” I love there stuff but I want to know more about it and how you feel about it !!
Gel cleanser. Even the words make my dry skin feel even drier.
Hahaha oh for sure. I'm hoping this one isn't too bad!
Gel cleansers can be very good! Think Dr Sam's Flawless cleanser or Jordan Samuel's The After Show Treatment cleanser.
Nice video Hon. Yes marketing WAS cringy but intention was good. I just wonder how they will manage stock levels at Sephora here in Aust. Many of the Inkey List main product range have been out of stock here for literally two years (Polygluatmic Acid I'm looking at you!) Still waiting for my Oat Cleansing Balm.....
The Inkey stock levels are shocking! I just get them all online now I dont bother with Sephora haha.
Hi have u tried dr lewins skincare?
Hey! No I haven't actually. Are there any products in particular that you're curious about ☺️
Appreciate the video, I swear I binged all your content the other day and I’m in love 😻
But no definitely not buying his line everything seems a little to starter pack for me plus I already have my favorites in the cleanser, retinol and moisturizer categories.
Oh thank you! Definitely very starter pack ahaha. If it wasn't for my channel I dont think I would've bought it either 😅
@@raziamoe haha hey I appreciate the honesty! Isn’t it funny how in a span of a week James made a video talking about how much he LOVED it the Cassandra comes out saying she didn’t like it?? But also can you really say a retinol didn’t have a effect after only a week of trying it??
@@TheSnickersChick what are your favourites? :)
@@mayko424 Hey! In cleanser I like the clinique Take the day away balm as my first cleanse and then the Le Roche Posay hydrating cleanser or Aveeno oat cleanser, retinol Skin Ceuticals .3 and moisturizer Stratia liquid gold or the Chemist confession Mr. Reliable!! What are your favorites??
@@TheSnickersChick thank you! You got me curious in Mr Reliable, love the liquid gold :) I am curious if you tried stratia's mandelic acid as it kept causing me breakouts and I finally gave up and started using it for my scalp. I am still searching for my holy grail routine, as I'm now focusing on it being cruelty free and vegan. So far I'm really impressed with Dr Sam's line, love her flawless cleanser especially, it's perfect for both 1st and 2nd cleanse but it is a bit pricey.
I was so excited for this launch but I wasn’t really inspired by the products. They seemed very “meh” but are priced more expensive than LRP, and other brands that are hyped up by Gen Z. So it’s all so confusing. Also, the amount donated per unit sold is still really unclear. They could be donating 1c per item and therefore the high price isn’t justified.
Tbh I was expecting a soothing hydrating redness serum, a great barrier relief dupe and hyrams version of the Aha peel, since these three products are what he’s always raving about. But he didn’t create anything like those three?! Anyway, I still love hyram but I’ll be supporting him from the sidelines on this one.
Yea the launch was underwhelming. Lots of great areas but I'm hoping they clarify that as well.
I'm interested to see what else comes from this brand, hopefully some more exciting products haha.
So far like you said its all quite meh, and if it wasn't for the purposes of my channel I wouldn't have spent the money lol.
Literally none of these products would work for my dry skin 😅😂 it’s weird the marketing age, the prices and the products don’t line up. Also the actives of alllll of the products are incredibly low, it’s just pushing the price of the products up without much of an effect :/
Yea nothing here for dry skin lol. I watched some of his vids explaining the launch/ products. I think he went for low conc since his target audience are so young. So these actives can all be used daily and it won't cause any adverse reactions.
But yeah the price is definitely a sticking point, esp since his target audience are on the younger side.
It is a launch and I hope they learn from this and use the criticism to improve the brand as it goes on.
@@raziamoe I’m only 22 with a few breakouts here and there but with pretty dry skin. Hopefully he launches some more products that might suit my skin better
