Port Phillip Bay calamari with Dad (& sounding up calamari on Lowrance HDS Carbon!)

- Hey guys and girls.
Here is my latest vlog, fishing the southern end of Port Phillip bay for calamari with dad. This trip was from late August, 2018. Apologies for the wind noise, but as you'll see, it was a rough morning out there! The Quintrex Renegade 460SC ate up the conditions.
We were also able to sound up large numbers of calamari at all the spots we fished, on our Lowrance HDS Carbon 12.

Hi Paul, good to see you and your dad out amongst them in PPB. I had a Lowrance HDS 12 on my last fishing boat a CruiseCraft 625 but that was 5 or so years ago and I don't think the Carbon version was out then. I've been off sailing for a year but am now back into fishing and keen to set up a boat with the right equipment. Can you give a bit of a rundown on the Carbon version or if you've already done that can you send me a link? Thanks, Bill

30 squid between the 2 of you? its 10 squid per person per day lucky fisheries havent caught ya they cracking down hard
alen kurtic it was 20. Not sure where 30 came from? We never go over our possession limits and only take what we need for a fresh feed and not freeze
