I truly admire the skills, dedication, and practice put into this drill. I do however wonder how this helps to prepare for war? Hehe Im not a military person but still admire this man's skills.
@@brendanthebomb9656 i apologize, im just stating observation from my own experience, but of course i have no clue what rifle hes using and my drill team couldve possibly had a different one (whoops) but i couldve sworn they are the same!
Pop 319 It weighed 8.4 lbs, above the standard 8 that is required for this competition. This is the weight used in all "Demilitarized" events at the Nationals.
@@americandrillreport oh ok, I was saying that because some schools that ive played against DID have lighter rifles but once u told me that i take back my comment ✌
They won't let you drill unless it's like 8.5 you say that because it's an NGA stock. Standard weight of an NGA rifle is 8.2. (I think) then you add the rubber stock, sling, some tape. It adds up
For the Drill competitions I compete in (Florida's/6th Brigade's), our Brigade allows for what they call 'female rifles' in Female Armed Exhibition--or in other words, Glendale's cheaper and lighter, ~4-lbs rifles. My school's Female Armed Exhibition teams all use standard weight Daisy rifles and the State competition judges last year told both our Female Platoon and Squad Ex "You know, it was a good routine and you guys looked good--but next time, I'd spin with female rifles." You should've seen those commanders' faces marching away from having heard that.
I swear some of these high school kids do better than the pros. This kid is intense.
This young man was/is amazing; confident, command presence, hand and eye coordination...a smooth operator.

HOOOOOOOLeeeeee SHIIIIIII-
Не знал...что соревнования по подкидыванию ружья бывают!!!
How heavy is the rifle
about 12 pounds (and obvi weight is not evenly distributed)... so its not easy
Keelan Esquivel 😂 it looks like its 8 pounds with the way it stops/looks
@@not_a_youtuber_0.0 hahaha oh no, that's just countless hours of practice; I can assure you - but they are very skilled!
Standard 1903 drill rifles from glendale are 8 pounds sooooo unless he has some mods for added weight I doubt its 12 pounds

Whoever disliked this video... ur wack
if only this took place in massachusetts, there’d more hype than just “nice”
That was really gud kinda jealous not him lie😭😭
I'd like this guy to use my units rifles. He probably couldn't even do a triple with them.
Ironic you say that , he used a much heavier rifle this past year and won , with a blade attached.
This was cool and all but that rifle weighs like 4 pounds prolly just sayin
keep coping
