I absolutely loved the movie. It really pulled on my heart strings. I get what people mean about Harper being terrible but I could see where her character was coming from as I myself am still closeted. John telling Abby that just because Harper hasn't come out doesn't mean she doesn't love her because everyone's coming out story is different truly was a lovely moment.
The only criticism I have about the movie is that we didn't get enough romantic moments between Abby and Harper prior to the X-mas craziness which I think played a part in making Harper too unlikable to some, because we ended up seeing the movie more through Abby's point of view.
I can’t be the only one who loves the way Amy says podcast.

because idk about you but it was very real
i was watching it with my girlfriend at her dad's house and we had to pause it and stop cuddling every time he walked in so ya literally living the movie
it was exactly what i expected and will probably be my comfort christmas movie; it was cheesy, gay, and there were hot people.

I grew up eating kangaroo 5 days a week and it's the most environmentally friendly meat you can consume. It's also free from factory farming, as kangaroos are culled because they breed like rabbits. Ultimately it's why I became vegetarian because I was sick of eating it, but other meats tasted way too fatty for me to handle and I couldn't deal with the factory farming element.

I personally loved Happiest Season, it was one of the first gay films that I was able to relate to. I think a lot of people worry that their family is going to disown them or not approve of their choices and I know personally when I first came out to my parents I was worried I would be kicked out (thankfully didn't happen but it wasn't an easy time). I agree that Mackenzie Davis' character didn't treat Kristen properly but to me, it was realistic and came from a place of worry about being disowned from her family and struggling with her sexuality. I also loved the relationship between John and Abby!

Hey, loves. I appreciate this channel so much! Would you ever consider inviting Jes from seltzer squad podcast? I am not positive of her sexuality, but I know she is WLW. While I appreciate you guys so much, sometimes it’s hard to listen when alcohol is brought up. I myself am new to sobriety, and a huge part of dating for me was drinking. I understand that you are being yourselves (as you should be), and that I can just click off anytime. However, I feel it would be a great topic about dating sober, and bring awareness to how society is often dependent on alcohol as a social lubricant, as well as almost sometimes being taboo being sober. Thanks so much! So happy your channel is doing so well. ❤️

This reminded me of my time at an all boys high school. Classmates called me a "stud" (not sure if it was because I understood women so well or if it was mocking usually being single). As I get a stronger feeling of my likely being trans, it was more accurate when a middle school classmate called me the d-word.
My favorite three teachers were the school's art teacher, my senior year theology teacher (who's now a key figure in Catholic "brothers" schooling, and a brother who was a very inspirational Western Civil. teacher that passed away as a sitting faculty member. They had a wake at the school before his body was sent home to NY state. In his classroom, his last lesson plan sat open on his desk with messages from students past and present on the dry erase boards.
At a reunion, I told the school president about my gender exploration (I may be the school's first "alumna"), and he told me about how the school is now very proud of an LGBTQ alliance club that's been founded in the past decade.

Who would've thought that a movie is fictional? I hate people who keeps criticizing movies for not being "realistic" like duh!
Films are suppose to be over the top and exaggerated because why would I want to watch something that is so plain and boring? I'm so in love with the original The L Word for this reason. The original version was so chaotic and interesting. The new version has made me skipped so many scenes because it was so flat.
