Thanks! I appreciate that. TBH I was a little iffy at first. But once I got the mid-frame air deflectors on, that really tied it all together. The photos at the end of the video are after I put the air deflectors in.
Nice solution to your mishap. It does look really good although the fit of your painted fender really ties in with the rest of your build. You're a winner either way
Thanks. I'm still trying to figure it out. The carbon fiber fender does give the bike a different vibe. I was telling Ryan this afternoon that I do think I like the look better with the tour pack. But also like the feel and handling of the bike without it. The good news is... detachable!! LOL
I do! After about 13k miles, it still looks brand new and I haven't experienced any issues. I don't recall the weight difference. But it is significantly lighter.
[sarcasm] Now all you have to do is replace everything plastic, with carbon fiber. Imagine the weight savings as your wallet gets lighter. [/sarcasm] Seriously though, it looks great. Take care Percy, ride safe.
LOL! Yeah. No, man. I poured cement down that rabbit hole before I even ordered this. Not even a jackhammer can open that thing up to crawl down into. :-) Thanks!!
That looks really good. Flows very well with your bike’s color scheme.

Glad you're happy with it man! Great video.
Looks great but with that colour (which looks awesome) I prefer the coloured fender
Still like it? How much weight did you save?

yea their nice better be for 500.00
It was a no-brainer for me. The painter wanted $500 to re-do my fender. That's what made me look to do the carbon fiber replacement.
