I had a hell of a time installing them damn mid frame deflectors. The nut cert spun in the frame before the bolt got tight. Hardly any room to get any kind of tool in there to tighten it to begin with. Had to loosen the fuse block and come in from behind and nut and bolt it.
There’s hand guards, carbon fiber, that oughta be great to keep the Jagger bushes and tree branches from scraping up your hands whenever you’re out riding. I can’t think of a better thing to put on a motorcycle. Performance baby.😅
I have advanblack seat and just purchased the backrest, those vents won’t work with the adjuster for the backrest will they. It looks as if they are going to be using the same mounting holes. Great video and advanblack has some real nice accessories kinda high for my wallet. Keep um coming
Hey DW....they will not mount together, youre right they use the same holes...Ive seen people cut the vent and add the switch into that though...i guess if you are hard core on running both its an option.
Anyone has a concern for wire running under tank dash Pickup some plastic sticky clips with clip pop wire on inside dash and plug wire to frame Love that shirt 👍👍
Are the hand guards actual carbon fiber also? And are the mounting points as frail as the plastic ones if so? I've lost four of the plastic ones, breaking at the two little brass nuts now. AVB keeps sending new ones for free, but I switched to metal just so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. The AVB ones are much bigger and block a hell of a lot more wind though
Yes all of these parts are actual carbon fiber. I do not know about the fragility of these, I've never had one of my ABS ones break either though...Ill reach out and see though
Hydraulic Clutch up through 2020 models. Cable Clutch started with 2021. I know because I would not upgrade my Road Glide 🦈 until Cable Clutch starting 2021. 🏍💨🏍💨
It's the new Quest 2-piece seat that is similar to the CVO 2-piece seat, just more comfortable...I have the cvo seat and it sucks...had it for 4 years and its hard as a rock..this one will be out very soon.
@sikbaggers I've been running Harleys cvo seat for about 8k miles now. I love it but don't typically do more than about 200 miles a day. Will be interested to check this new seat out in the future. Thanks!
I just seen the new bikes at my Local HD dealer with a carbon fiber front wheel fender dash and some deal that butts up to back of the seat. Not for me hideously ugly in my opinion. I guess I am too old school. Just give the old school chrome and you keep the blacked out and carbon fiber.
while its not for everyone, neither is skulls and flames but I see bikes covered in them everyday...its all about functionality and what suits you and your riding style...thank you for checking it out though Bagman! Much appreciated.
I have been riding motorcycles for 52 years . Harley since 1985 . why in the world do people want to put mud flaps on their break and clutch levers is beyond me .
They help protect your hands from the elements, especially those who ride in the cold and rain...you would be surprised at how much air they actually deflect. Not every shiny custom part out there is meant for your unique riding style. Maybe consider that customization is a subjective game, and what floats your two-wheeled boat might not be the holy grail for everyone else on the road. If you think about it, it's really not "beyond you" it's just not "made for you. "
It makes zero since to you and I'm sure a ton of other people but then again not every part our there is made for "you" Its ok to not like things or not find a function for it in your world. It does not however constitute it to be a useless part. Just useless to you.
I don’t use them but, there is a one word answer to this, “winter”. I use Harley’s FXRG gloves but without heated grips even they give it up to Michigan winter air.
@@sikbaggers You completely misunderstood the intent of my comment. His comment made no sense. I see bikes covered in skulls, which makes no sense, yet people make their bikes the way they want them.
It would be cool to see carbon fiber glove box lids too!
I'll 2nd that
I'll run it by them! Thanks for checking them out!
Wow just wow, love the parts, all of these parts with a full vivid black colour change would be beautiful, thanks for sharing
More carbon fiber parts coming soon!
Huge fan of Advanblack. Just installed new swing arms on my bikes. So much fun doing upgrades.
I love it...as much as riding! Wrenching, for the most part, can be so satisfying
Thanks Steve, another great video
thank you for checking them out Pat! Be safe!
Nice stuff Thanks Steve!
Thank you for checking it out Jeff!
Love your video today!
thank you Scott! Much appreciated sir!
👍 accessories that make the difference 🤩
thank you for checking them out Marco!

yep, I hate those things for that reason. I dont use them, Simple bolt washers and a nylock nut but I have to show it as its intended to be installed.

Those that ride in the cold apprecaite them. Bet.
I guess I have heated grips and I heated jacket and I heated seat on my CVO. I don’t know about those used to put them on the dirt bikes.
Nice carbon,steve,regards mike 🇬🇧
Thank you for checking them out Mike!
TY Steve Solid
A few more parts are being made now...I think it will be a nice touch at the end of this build. thank you for checking it out!
@@sikbaggers welcome 🙏
Now if advan black would make the fxr style side covers that would be awesome!
I cannot confirm nor deny that they are working on them currently. 😉

When is Advanblk going to bring out carbon fibre parts for Softails. Specifically Heritage?
Not sure that they will...we haven't discussed it
Do they have fits for Slims?
Not at this time

Yeah...I realized that while editing and was not about to go reshoot that LOL Thanks for checking it out bro!
Can the hand guards be finished on both sides since both sides are visible
I dont know if they will be doing that, I asked the same thing.
@@sikbaggers it would look a lot better
What air cleaner/cover are you running on this bike?
That's the Tab Performance Zombie Breath Intake.
Tab Performance Zombie Breath with DK Customs external Breather. He is my video on both ruclips.net/video/nPcRQgplN0c/видео.htmlsi=SfKMK6pfp-OwEl6R

yeah...they arent for everyone man...i get it
I would love to prefer from Advan Black but I have a couple questions, I have called and left voicemails. No answer no return call.
If you called me and I didn't get to it I apologize, its been super busy and I'm the only tech here...please try again (909) 766-1791 m- f, 8 to 5 cst
Enjoy your video’s. But don’t understand the C F crazz.. 🤨
