second session took this painting from incredible to breathtaking! Love the pallet view to see your color-mixing choices. (and love the nonchalant "left-hand-in-the-pocket"!
thank you so much, Dan. It's funny how often my left hand finds my pocket while painting, lol!
Loving your paintings, thought process and enthusiasm just wonderful it keeps me motivated and say hello to your family
Thank you so much 😀
Such an acute sense for what is needed.
Enjoyed this sooo much. Thx
🙏🙏🙏

Gracias joven maestro por mostrar la paleta de colores mientras realiza la obra, gracias por su generosidad. Me disculpo por el idioma.
🙏🙏
Great location great painting.
thank you
Brilliant
🙏
Fab!
🤙
I would have like it if you kept the sky a little bigger to show some nice gradations, but this is really nice too
beautiful work Turner! I saw your comment at the end about highlights in the water, what about some warmer darker tones of shadows in the foreground water and rocks/dirt? I always try to think to deepen my shadows before adding more highlights but that is just my two cents, love the video and just to watch you work. Thanks for another great one! Looking forward to the next!
thanks Joseph. While I was painting I wasn't necessarily feeling like any darker tons were needed in the foreground, but I'll certainly consider it when I check out the painting again. thanks again 🙏
BJ...Znowu dałeś czadu...Świetna malarska robota.

Mega pięknie pozdrawiam

I do not know how you can paint in that cold weather lol. I almost had to put on another layer of clothing just to watch 🤣
Enjoyed the vid!
hahaha, the first session was quite a bit colder, but that second session was a cozy 35 degrees or so, with the sun out. Perfect weather!
Looks great. I can’t believe all of your snow is gone. We have roughly 8” and it’s minus 28 degrees Celsius or -18 Fahrenheit, no en plein air painting for me 🙈
oh wow! I'm thinking maybe we found the perfect spot. Nice and warm, with only a few minutes drive to deep snow!
PAINT glorious PAINT!! :-)
🤙🤙
As always, I look forward to each new painting. The movement of the water and the sunlight are my favorites.
I am just beginning plein air painting and am curious about how you orient yourself to your subject. It seems like you are not painting with a straight on view, rather the subject to the side as to not to be in direct view when you turn attention to your canvas. Is there a specific reason for this?
thank you, Jill. Being right handed, I typically prefer to set up opposite of this, to where I would look to my left at the scene. But, logistically, this direction was better for the camera, lol! And when I'm painting on a sunny day, I'll also try to turn my canvas so it isn't getting direct sunlight on it. Hope that makes sense!
Да классная картина получилась импрессионизм!
🙏🙏
How come you don't talk to us any more? It is almost uncomfortable? Like you are mad.😬
But you are my favorite painter!
yeah, so mad, lol. It's just nice for me to be able to just paint sometimes, and talk other times. It's funny, some people comment how they love that it's just the sounds of nature and no talking, etc, and others only want the talking. I try to give something for everyone✌️

Super malarsko!
✌️
What type of paint do you use?
I'm using oil paint
Why plein air paint if you aren't going to paint what you see?
🤷🏻♂️
