I personally loved this episode. It shows that Cressida is trying to be better. She also tells Eloise essentially that she is the one being a horrible friend and has a lot of growth to do. And the kiss is so good. I love that he looks so dumbfounded after and Pen is now the clueless one since she ran off without even looking at his face. She assumes that he just did her the favor.
Edwina likely married the queen's nephew the prince from season 1. At the very end of season 2 the queen tells Edwina not to worry, that she'll introduce them.
I feel like they're trying to do a series overarching story of from rags to riches with the Mondriges, but sadly I don't really feel like they're adding anything to the story 🤔
Wasted time that coulda been used to give Colin and Pen more scenes together so it doesn't feel like we moved at break neck speed. Still confused about what their purpose serves to the story aside from diversity which we already know bridgerton has no shortage of...
I don’t think they would be focusing on the Mondrich family unless it will ultimately have a bigger purpose. They may play a part or have a connection to the love interest for one of the other kids…like Benedict
@@Pfruit0916 I don't see how unless they change the name of Gregory's lady. Benedict's, they aren't the right family makeup or personality. We've met Eloise's husband. We know enough about Francesca's to know that isn't it. Given the family of Hyacinth's, it can't be hers. But even with Gregory's, hers is a very old family.
@@africansweetheart9590 it wasn't breakneck speed. They literally were on screen the same amount as the previous main couples were in their first 4 episodes. And technically, Polin has been building up to this for 2 seasons. They don't need to court, courting is to get to know each other. They've know each other since they were children.

LOVED the twist that Cressida was the good guy this episode.
The kiss scene was so touching with Lady Whistledown's voiceover about losing hope.

I found you through Outlander.. so fun to watch you with this show now!
Same! Now I watch her for this and Lucifer, and a possibly a few others!
Great reaction! 🤩

I know. I like them, but they're not adding a lot.

18:13 "want to read about ALLL the women, the body count, his literal f***ery in Paris"
In the book he just writes very poetic about his travels, the scenery, etc.
Don't understand why the show had to put this in his journal. 🤷♀️
