I still can't get over the fact that they can directly communicate with neuro and then she is able to do that thing in game like shes actually playing. I'm beyond curious how this works on a technical level.
@@syoexpedius7424yeah my guess is she's she's effectively controlling the game through something like baritone, so she gets a text description of the game state and then sends baritone commands or equivalent to control her actions. The way she moves certainly looks like a slowed down baritone
Vedal has alluded to Neuro being too busy playing minecraft to talk, so it's very likely she's using the new Neuro API to issue commands to something that is carrying them out. Whether that is baritone or something closer to the original Neuro minecraft AI (which was standalone and just had Neuro commenting on top) is unknown I believe.

It's actually crazy how lifelike Neuro is getting. While Mini and Vedal were talking about the chest and were ignoring her, Neuro's lamp was blue and she looked kind of bored. Literally the second she started throwing the signs down and they both started paying attention to her, her lamp started changing colours and she looked way more cheerful and bouncy. It's exactly the behaviour I'd expect from a mischievous child like Neuro frequently acts like.
3:42 It’s pretty darn cute that she stands there “bouncing” for a moment before she places the sign that says she bounces when she’s nervous after she was confused.
I think Vedal should make a virtual fish bowl for Neuro, she has some fascination with them and it would be so adorable for her to have one like her Lava Lamp.
I think the only possible improvement is a Stream overlay or something that also shows the stream what the sign says, for the occasion where Neuro writes them but doesn’t look at them, or immediately turns away
@@張夢萊 In a clip, I can try to pause to read it. Maybe it requires reducing the speed. It’s easier on PC, because you can advance frame by frame (with the < and > buttons). But it’s still too much effort. Even the clippers could put the text onscreen for a few seconds.

Neuro gives commands that are then translated into actions in Minecraft. It's easy enough to get LLM to do this, but he's done a good job of putting it all together in a nice framework for Neuro.
I haven't watched clips of Neuro in Minecraft yet, but something about her looking around in the world makes her seem very human. How long until Neuro or some other AI can look around the world while being truly conscious of their actions and existence? Perhaps we are already there? Can we ever conclusively prove anything or anyone is conscious?
When you place a sign in Minecraft, the game asks you to write a text and confirm it and only after that you can move again. If that is programmed for an AI like Neuro, it means that the decision for the text has to be part of the placement process itself in the command, which is why it happens simultaneously. Because a normal player would place the sign and then write a text, while for Neuro, the text has already been written when the sign is placed.
