For me , Hamish Stuart, of the Dream Police way back in the Electric Gardens in Glasgow.....he was amazingly talented..and so deserving of his fame in the AWB...Thanks form me to all of them as we age...and never forget they enjoy doing what we enjoy watching an listening to....
Hello brothers and sisters, I saw Ringo and his all star band in 2001. I have to say it was fantastic. It's like seeing several concerts at one time, and Ringo is very cool. He treated us like we were all old friends who had just gotten back together again after years apart. I recommend going if you have the opportunity.
Rock on guys and Ringo was right, just do what you love and have fun. Like the saying goes, "ONCE A MUSICIAN, ALWAY'S A MUSICIAN'. Thanks guys and be safe always.
What a great line up of such talent. Who wouldn’t want to grow old like Ringo, he just looks amazing. I’m almost 75 & I’m working on looking like him when I’m 81 but without the hair I’m afraid. I still drink but was always cautious around drugs.
I enjoyed the show a week and a half ago in Canandaigua New York. It was fantastic and my wife really enjoyed it despite the fact that she originally thought it might be not so good. She said she knew every song and they kept the original feel and sound of every song they performed.
Great to see Colin Hay back in the band. I love live music with wonderful songs. I hope all musicians continue to play music and get together. It is wonderful to share a meal together with your friends, talk and play songs together.
Cześć chłopaki. Jak miło Was widzieć i słyszeć w tak wspaniałej kondycji. Cieszę się, że będziecie grać i śpiewać. Szkoda tylko, że nie w Polsce. A zatem, trzymajcie się ciepło. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Warszawy Polska

If you haven't seen one of these all star band shows, I highly recommend it. Every "star" is featured on a couple of their songs, and they do the higher profile songs featuring Ringo, from both his Beatles and solo work.
Rock N Roll. Ringo looks very good for 81. Is funny when you consider that he was the sickest when they were younger. Great to see them all rocking. Got to meet Hamish at Beatlefest LA 2000. Also saw him with Paul McCartney.
Watching the videos of the various All Starr Band incarnations is a good time, sad in a way seeing so many of the artists who have passed away but grateful the lineup this year is able to get out and get it done.
I saw Ringo's ASB back in '95 at Harbor Lights in Boston. John Entwistle made an appearance towards the end to bring what I considered a near-perfect show to perfection!
Yes, he could just do a four piece band and make all the money himself, but he includes six other people and crew and generates income for hotels and venues and other staff and people. Plus spreads his peace and love message throughout the world.
I am just pleased that Ringo is doing what he enjoys best playing live with his mates. At least he doesn't take himself too seriously like Sir Thumbs Up!
