For people not understanding the tax credit: It's when you trade (not sell) cars. If he sold to CarMax he gets $24K and has still has to buy a car somewhere else. He will pay sales tax on the entire purchase of the car. If he takes the $22K trade, he only will pay sales tax on the difference between the trade and purchase price of the car he is buying. For example, you sell car to CarMax for $24K and buy a car for $40K somewhere else. Assuming sales tax of 6%, on the $40K that is is $2400. However, if you trade your car for $22K and buy the $40K car from wherever you traded, you only pay sales tax on the difference, so for this example that is $18K difference with 6% sales tax of $1080.
At George’s original $22,000 offer: Tax savings of $22,000 × 6% = $1,320 Total value = $22,000 + $1,320 = $23,320, leaving a $680 shortfall compared to CarMax. Kid should counter at $22,700.

Javier needs to be listening to Dave Ramsey
Did I see a Carolina Panthers ball in the office? LETS GOOOO! 🐈⬛🥶🙏
I got a 2005 Roush Mustang I kind of debate myself on what to do with it. Fix it up go all out, sell it and get something else, or just sit on it and see where the market goes
Plumbing and heating, crazy
Dudes a Chinese fenty dealer
Man wish they had a dealership in Portland Oregon.
34:14 lol it's a great deal, just go ahead and take it haha.
I watch all the shorts before the video comes out and I get confused lol idk how I like that.
Got one kid, the sedan will work great 😊 . Keep it and pay it off
That black lambo was in my neighborhood in MA! He was selling it! About two months ago
If carmax offered 24k, that is the minimum Javier should have been offered.
Second, we do not know that 45k GLE, what year was it, how many miles, etc. - but just saying it is 45k and that's it, I think Javier lost on this deal because he did not negotiate, and accepted thingsa as they were offered and presented to him. George, piece of advice, using "tax credit" during the negotiation is a dirty little move by dealers, and you my friend, I know you are better than that - c'mon now my guy...
Carmax give best money for cars I work at a dealer we sometimes takes cars on trade and just sell em right to carmax lol
The tax credit thing is a valid point if the dealer has the exact car you’re looking to trade for..sure he can go to car max and sell for 24k then come right back to George now his new(higher) out the door price leaves him netting the same… $4,000 in sales tax on 45k vs $2000 on 23k
Love the daily content. Too Good
Also super impressed he knows the inventory off the top of his head
You’re surprised that he knows the stuff that he himself has purchased?
@jeffv3296 they have like 900 cars in inventory in I feel like he knows them all
@@jim5k and? I managed a high end luxury boutique for 28 years that had hundreds of items in stock. Our job is to know the inventory. When I was a teenager, I ran a sports card shop where I was familiar with the inventory of thousands of cards. George is the primary buyer for the business. He should know the inventory. Secondly-don’t kid yourself. He picks and chooses what videos go up and get posted. He’s not going to put up videos where he doesn’t look super “on point”.
Dude should tune that B9 S4. Beast mode
Did the Hyper Blue Subaru sti sell in this video ?
Love these long videos
Is that the same Aventador they bought from the doctor for $282K?
Yepp
Yup sat for a while
Looks like the guy who bought a Lambo is Vietnamese. I live in San Jose and they are probably the most hard working people here
i used to have a 2014 CLA250 then I traded it for a CLS63 AMG 💥. MY CLS63 is a 2013 RWD, sport package w/ carbon parts (basically S designation before they had s). it is tuned, lowered, and insanely fast. IDK what to do I'm up to 130k miles on her, but its such a good looking and insanely fast car. I just don't know, Dont want to get rid of it.. so I guess I'll just hold onto it .. . :\
Def
Loved this video. Cant wait to what 2025 gonna bring
Makes 70k a month WTF is he getting a lone ? I love this RUclips channel get to see such bad financial decisions
Yes getting a loan makes sense it frees up cash flow
I am sure a guy making 70k/month is not making bad financial decisions lmao
George’s offer of $22,000 for the trade-in is still not good enough even with the tax savings. The tax credit for a trade-in is calculated by multiplying the trade-in value and the state tax rate. If it’s 6%, then the tax savings will be 22,000 x 0.06 = $1320.
He already has a cash offer of $24,000 from Carmax. That’s a $2000 spread from what George is offering, which reduces to a $680 spread after taking into account the trade-in tax benefit.
The kid should counter with $22,700 on the trade-in, which will put him about par with the CarMax offer.
I would like to see you do a video of your personal car collection
Here’s the messed up part. When they quote them… and they retract the quote.
They do it all the time, so if that's on camera, use your imagination on what's going on off camera.
I need a wide body hellcat red eye last call 500 credit score 2K down. Let me know. No trade in
Are you serious lol
Long form like this is perfect
34:13 Cool & relaxed dude...Love his assertiveness & positive attitude!
People dont deal with this guy. They give offers then dont honor them. Unreal.
High offer on the phone just to get them in, then offer less. Good business.
@@campyc40 good business? Scam business. Shadiest used car salesman i have seen in my life.
@@executiveinvestments Completely scummy thing to do. I would never return and be sure to tell everyone about his BS offers.
@@anyexpat yep. I would walk away. He takes off thousands of what someone else already offered. And he keeps saying his cars are priced to sell and won’t drop. Bad business. No wonder they have so many cars. They can’t sell them.
Not sure if you ever reply but how tf did he drive home same day if you can’t do a temp tag for mass customers ?
Transfer tags maybe especially if it’s a weekday.
Man that evo looks so much better
W george keep up the great work dude.
17:00 woooo!! delaware
Own my own company with 4 trucks. HA man come on when we know you own nail salons
He owns a massage parlor
What's the deal with the Java green x5m..called 4x on that car and couldn't get an answer why it's 12k higher than others and more miles
George you should put all 900 cars in one spot and shoot a video. It would go super viral
I believe they’re sourcing a 90,000+ square foot facility to do everything in house and consolidate locations. Would be cool to see for sure.
I wouldn’t get rid of the locations though, to much exposure
george is taking over
Let’s goo good Timing
X3m and m3 have the same seats dude is cracked😂😂
When will someone negotiate a Mitsubishi on here? I’d love that.
