- Taken with my Sony DSC - HX99 - great vids, but just okay sound. I was in PIT 2.. Great show.. despite moving it up a day. Floor/pit got rained on before the show and during 2 songs. :)... seats on sides were under cover so they stayed dry..

So very true & l think their peers have been jealous😀. Jealous all they like, this band was born to play & powerfully they do, showing youngins, that 72, 76, 76 & 78 that it's awesome that they are still so damn good.

I finally got to see the Stones in Glendale,AZ AND IT TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY!! I grew up with their music and I will never forget being there in Arizona to witness the comcert!
Bless you glad u got to see them, I took my kids this time, they're 15,11 and 21 lol they loved it,as did I more than my other 7 because I had my family to remember it with me, it's the best money I've ever spent !
I was there too! Just after the rose bowl! Got pit tickets at the very last minute 24 hours before the show drove out to Glendale at midnight from San Diego! One of the best shows I’ve ever seen!

I was there, right in the front...this is my favorite Stones tune! When Mick started singing: “Uhhh a storm is threatening, my dear life today...” and it started pouring as if it was on cue, I was like: “Someone better be recording this! Or no one will believe it! You can’t make this up! “ Thanks for sharing! It reminds me that it wasn’t a dream!
So were you standing close to me on catwalk or closer to front?
@@dnewton98 I was there during the acoustic set, but WAS a bit more towards the right. I recognized some of the security though, and the hughlight for me was when the guy that sells water started dancing during “Start Me Up”! I have it on my instagram highlights.

Another outstanding performance saw them in 89 Sullivan stadium in Foxboro mass it's funny they were calling it the steel wheelchair tour but who has the last laugh on this one twenty years later and still kicking ass boys you showed everyone who had the real stones love you live keep on rocking

This is the memorable end of the Stones final show as the rain fell before a hurricane
This was an epic moment, day before Hurricane Dorrian (and the reason why the Stones re-scheduled their Miami show to the day before, Aug.30), the weather was already acting out, raining on and off, but it it gave the concert goers a break for almost entire show! Only to come down strong on the last two songs, one of which was "Give Me Shelter"! And Mick came out to the end of the stage, singing through the rain along with his backup singer (she was amazing!).

I was there. It was amazing. This was their finale. There was a hurricane coming. They moved the show ahead by one day. Started raining just when they started gimme shelter. It was perfect.

Holy wow this song was held during a hurricane
apparently they have done a few iconic off the hook fab concerts in full rain.. we only had a few short downpours and only one during a song. In the PIT we got drenched before Stoens came on - short but furious rain burst for maybe 5 minutes. Then during "Gimme Shelter" Rain started right as Mick sang "Oh, a storm is threat'ning my very life today" - all the news outlets in Miami commented on the crazy timing. Then it rained a very end of encore so in 2 hour concert only 3 minutes of rain till very very last 30 seconds.
I was there. On covered seats. Amazing finale. South Florida was waiting for a hurricane that weekend and these guys finish up with "there's a storm a coming" and the rain breaks out.
I was in the PIT next to catwalk - i had a rain poncho. It rained a couple of times - once right before the show and once during this song then the downpour right after.. We were all completely drenched. But it was a blast.. Poncho was mainly to cover my camera. Even the local news and papers reported that rain broke out at that exact moment of that lyric.. awesome

Got the PIT tickets (standing in front) and lined up a few hours before doors opened to get the catwalk rail in the PIT.. You can't see both sides of the catwalk so I miss Ronnie, etc but up close is so great.. worth it.
Stones rules all the fuckin times! God bless the Rolling Fuckin Stones!

Saw the STONES in the 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010's.....they still rule....Jagger is THE prototype for every frontman since.....is this the last we'll hear from the Stones?...for some reason I don't think so...At least I hope.
