I now owned this bike for 6 months here in Indonesia. I use to ride big bikes back in the USA, but now have been riding 150cc bikes for a while. I own CRF150L and MT15, have done trips on CRF250 Rally and the 300 Versys as well. Overall I really like this bike, it's comfortable, the suspension is well sprung and dampened for my 72 kg frame, brakes are good enough and the engine has enough power. The bike also looks awesome and I also get lots of comments. finally here the price is very reasonable. Now few observations, and comments: The bottom plastic is just that, its not a skid plate by any means The engine has no oil filter, just a simple internal oil screen. The engine is also not the smoothest out there, its bit of a tractor especially when accelerating. I am use to it now, but my MT15 engine is so much smoother and makes more power at higher RPM with the variable valve timing. At about 1000 km, it became difficult to find neutral at full stop, oil change and clutch cable adjustment fixed 85% of that issue, but again the MT15 is way nicer. The side stand is bit too short, the bike leans over too much. Easy fix with block of wood attached to the bottom of the stand. Fit and finish is nice enough, but the paint on the rims is very weak and thin, I have some rock chips in it already, small thing. I replaced the cheap factory chain with an x ring chain and installed 16 T front sprocket, that drops the rpm by about 500 at cruise speeds, but I still have plenty of power. The tires are 100% street oriented, so a set of "adventure" ones is required for any sort of off roading. I still use this bike the most, would absolutely buy it again. The above comments are my 2000km of riding observations, hope that helps someone.
Thank you so much for the infomation sir, I am undecided on which bike would i buy. Mt15 or cbx 150, any advice sir. Because i already think of it that MT15 is much better than CB150x for me. Any suggestion sir from you because you owned this 2 bikes. Thank you
@@KuyaJunjunTV Sorry for late reply. These two bikes are bit different. The Mt15 is a naked, street fighter style bike. It has more aggressive riding position, zero wind protection.......It is more powerful, especially at higher rpm, the clutch/transmission is silky smooth, normal oil filter, I would call it mechanically more refined. One thing you must change on it is the rear shock/spring if it is the way I bought my here. The rear spring is way too stiff, if you are 100 kg, might be ok, but then the shock has poor dampening, so you get pogo stick, unsafe action from the back. If you sit on the bike, the suspension should compress about 30%, on my bike it was like 5%, bad job yamaha. The CBX is a "touring/commuting" machine, I just came back from 1750 km, 6 day trip around north Sumatra in Indonesia. I loved this bike on this trip. I am about 75 kg, had 20 or so kg of luggage on the back. Stock suspension was good, zero complaints. The bike is comfortable, the wind protection is ok, I could tuck in and hide from small rain and cooler wind. The roads were always curving, so my speed varied from 25 to 60 km accelerating around corners and such. The bike delivers good acceleration at these speeds, it was mostly 3rd and forth gear from around 5000 rpm to 8000. Few times riding at fester speeds, the acceleration drops off, but after all it's a 150cc bike. Here the MT15 would pull little harder, but I would welcome this maybe for 2% of my trip. I took the bike on some dirt and rocky roads as well, with my "adventure" tires no problems, my friend on CRF 150 went little faster on these roads, but not by much. back on the paved roads, he was lot less comfortable. Bike issues, the side stand is stupid short, with luggage the bike wanted fo fall over, center stand was used. I am 178 cm tall, when standing up the handle bar is little low, getting bar risers, on same note, in dirt standing up the rubber foot pegs are too slippery and narrow. I will get some wider steel foot pegs. That's it, I was happy to be on the CBX on this trip. On these tight roads, the bigger 16 tooth sprocket was not required, but back home on straight roads it works out well. The japanese chain did not stretched at all, perfect. Finally after 1750 km of fun, "hard" riding, always changing gears, the oil came out dirty, so if you like your engine change it every 2000 km or so. Mt15 is a very nice , fun, hooligan machine. CBX is better all around motorcycle. Hope this helps.
For sure ilalabas na dn ni honda soon ang 160cc version nyan with abs and more maskulado looks lalo na mags and tires nya na mas pinalapad hope na dumating agad ❤️
Same inputs as well, wish Honda could have placed some more basic features such as the bike stand kill switch and ABS front brake, at least to at least justify the pricing also. Hopefully on their next update of this bike.
No need kill switch for MT transmission sir. Opinion lang kasi i nu neutral mo naman bfore ka mag stand, samatic pabor un kasi iwas aksidente if mapiga gas habang nkastand..
@@ridetraveldiscover your entitled to your opinion. But I see a lot of riders who forget their side stand whether MT or AT. So I always say better to have and not need it than need it and not have it.

It's a nice bike perfect no need for an abs and a side stand switch, as one have commented just presence of mind cause driving a motorcycle needs a lot of presence of mind, the engine displacement is nice not so big that this one consumes economically, I owned a crf250L and it consumes gas heavily, it has power but I cannot utilize always its power for long distance travel.
