I’m so glad you were able to separate Bamboo from the other males! I can tell he’s much happier already!!

  • @toybarons

Glad for Bamboo. Remember that he is imprinted on you, so Bamboo will always be closer to his human than another emu. I had that happen with the first Houdan roosters I had in my breeding program. I handled them too much and they became more imprinted on me than their hens. Still, with the right female, there is still a chance that he may breed one day. Glad you moved him. You can tell Bamboo is much happier.

Awe, he wasnt being weird. He was hanging with daddy and feeling comfortable. Thats how we know he is happy and back to normal. 😊

I'm glad you got Bambo out of the field and put him back in his old place. He looks happier with a mate and away from the other Emus. To me he was showing thanks for moving me back were I feel safe.

SO happy for Bamboo. It's obvious how much you love and care about your animals, but still, thank you for making sure he has a space he feels happy and comfortable in. I hope he continues to be the happiest he can be~

So, the issue here is in how Bamboo was raised. Hes not seeing you as Emus, hes seeing himself as a human. He helieves he is meant to mate, be friends with, and flock with you guys. For him, he will never be anywhere close to as enriched by emus than he is with you guys.

Its rly sad seeing bamboo sacred from everyone it made me tear a bit cause he was the reason I found this channel seeing him playing made me feel good

  • @mistyeydgrl

Emu's make such cool sounds. I'm glad that Bamboo is in a space that he is happier in.

  • @dixsigns1717

Bamboo is who drew me to your channel years ago. I am glad you helped him.

  • @josephpiscopo3436

Bamboo was initially raised as a house pet and he remained a house pet. His natural instincts never took over his pet habits

  • @Tezz-4444

bamboo was checkin you out from EVERY angle, he must be feeling better in the location . also i think he imprinted on you jake, you are the chosen one he’s only got eyes for you 🤣

  • @leekestner1554

I am glad for Bamboo. You have an awesome herding dog who doesn't seem to be trained but really wants to help you. If trained you could have had them hold the white emus off of you. I had a small handful of sheep and it helped so much when I got my Sheltie cross trained enough to help me.

  • @ellenwalker3749

It’s wonderful that you cater to your animals in the most considerate and loving way.

  • @shazakaacutehugsenglish6215

I do love bamboo, he seems happier now. He probably looks as you as a mate because you raised him from a baby, he doesn't love other emus only your family..love paisley great name goes well together with the others..xx

  • @mateo7018

So happy that Bamboo is happier and back to his normal self. I'm sure Peekaboo is too. I like the name Paisley. She and Poppy are so cute ☺.

  • @lisadavila1328

You could see a world of difference in bamboo after he was moved back to his old spot. So happy that it worked out well. God bless you guys!

  • @1976mcfarlane

I love that you guys care about their mental health. I like that you guys adjust situations to make sure the animals are happy. Great farming practices

  • @slippergal1

The head collar is called a halter. They can also wear collars, like the ones they put cow bells on.

  • @qwilfish66

I'm glad sweet Bamboo is happy again 😊

  • @lisawymer9894

I am so glad you named the baby cow Paisley, I had suggested that name...what a awesome pick...love your family ❤
