I don’t care who she knew that landlord wasn’t going to let her have the place with no money . Her background wouldn’t have gotten her a place and I don’t believe she’s on the lease or they don’t check the tenants criminal record but some scum neighborhoods the landlords don’t care as long as they get their money . Can I have the recipe to that beans and rice?
I soak my beans overnight then rinse again before cooking.
I let my smoked meat, onion, bell pepper cook in the crockpot for an hour before I add my beans.
When I add my beans that’s when I add my seasoning. About 2 or 3 shakes of browning seasoning, steak seasoning (not Montreal), a sazon packet, onion powder, garlic powder and a little cumin. That last hour (usually 3 hours) I add black pepper and any other seasoning after I taste my beans.
I like my beans soupy too but I like cornbread with mine ❤
