Unless it's a cow, because they just love random forms of sound regardless. Like that guy who was burping and the herd gathered to witness the belching wizard
As someone who is totally obsessed with horses and their behaviors, I can say that these two are genuinely curious about the pretty music. I would've liked to see the next minute or so to see how the pinto reacted, as it became a little tense at the end of the video, and I can't tell if it was simply because the palomino moved toward it or if it was in response to the violin. Good way to introduce the violin and the music to the horses; minimal human intervention is best. Horses are naturally very inquisitive, so allowing them to explore and learn for themselves is better than forcing and flooding their senses. I love that they are not wearing halters (never leave halters on horses if they are unsupervised, even just for a minute!), and I love that they are in a wide open space so they can choose how close they want to be to the music and the humans. Beautiful little video; thanks so much for sharing!
@Jade French clearly the palomino dominates here, hence the pinto’s reaction. From the beginning you can tell the pinto clearly keeps an eye on his buddy while observing the violin, while the palomino doesn’t give a damn about him and gets real close to the fence to check out the violin. So I don’t think the pinto reacted to the violin, he just was careful not to encroach on the palomino’s space.
