Comparing Michael Carrick to Roy Keane is not clever. We all know Keane's abilities, he was a motor and a all-round talented midfielder whose drive to win helped push United. Carrick was a quiet engine, covering the DM position and spraying passes almost as well as Scholes. Both were excellent for us. Both very different. Both missed. Don't forget, we are rebuilding. It takes time. There are very good signs but we need results and a much more consistent and entertaining season than the last one.
