I had the honor of meeting Jimmy Hart about 5 years ago . He was the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met, he thanked my step dad and I multiple times for coming out to meet him. He was very friendly and welcoming.

Admit it. Cornette is Loved for being so honest. Corny's shoot interviews are some of the best interviews ever He is so honest and funny whenever he opens his mouth. He's like E.F. Hutton. When he talks people listen. ( I'm sure there will be only a few who get the E.F. Hutton reference.) I just showed my age with that reference.
As an old fan of Southern Wrestling, there wasn't anyone you loved to hate more. He was pure genius in that role. He had the psychology down. Plus, I used to hope the Midnight Express would lose a match just to see him throw a temper tantrum. He made an art of that.
Damn was expecting Harvey Wippleman to be somewhere in this list. His puny size and big mouth combined with the task of managing unlikeable wrestlers (Giant Gonzalez for example) should be recognised for being a manager who would constantly get on our nerves in the 1980-90’s.

I want to start by just saying I hate Cornett I think the guy is completely out of touch with modern day wrestling but he deserves the number three spot he's not better than Paul Heyman though. Paul Heyman could talk circles around him in the ring. If you watch cornet stalking even his most recent controversy talking about fried chicken and black people he uses the same lines over and over for decades. But for his accomplishments 30 years ago he deserves to be at the number three spot.

Both of them breathe and live that choice, sadly Corny's choice is acceptable and portrayed only in indy promotions. And to be honest I agree to a point with Cornette, I fancy myself a match like Moxley vs Killer Kross than an Omega vs Moxley.

But I see a big part of the wrestling fans (including me) being attracted to a more toned down and believable style of wrestling. Having a MMA and amateur wrestling background I prefer a good technical match. The best match to represent the point I want to make is the 2011 MITB Punk vs Cena, a good balanced and properly set match. One of the reasons I personally (I'm just stating my opinion here, not to defend Cornette) get alienated from the big promotion's matches is the storytelling, which is actually the halfway to a great bout.
Using managers to garner heat is an important part of the fundamentals of professional wrestling. It is a shame that the WWE completely ignores that fact. Just another reason why no one on that roster is truly over. Good list.

Blassie’s work at Maccabia Mania II (Grand Masters of Wrestling II) where he sung Pencil Neck Geeks and poked a guy in the junk after it ended. Are we going to forget that?
Honorable mention: Vickie Guerrero As far as drawing raw heat from the crowd, she was one of the greatest. Her presence alone and just a few short words got the entire crowd booing, and got whatever heel she was working with to be the most hated person on the roster instantly. Seriously, go back and watch some of her promos, she knew exactly how to use her character to get heat, and the amount she can extract is what many heels have only dreamed of.
Nancy Benoit/Woman is criminally underrated, and not just as a valet. She could cut a promo, interfere with matches, and cause wrestling feuds with the best of them.
If you go back and watch the Savage/Elizabeth episode of Dark Side of the Ring, there's a clip of Randy cutting a promo saying "Macho Madness is at it's peak right now, and we gotta know who the manager is gonna be". That's when Elizabeth was introduced. So she was a manager in the beginning but she eventually became Randy's love interest.

Paul Ellering should be much higher on this list. He a was a real life manager to the Road Warriors. He negotiated contracts and bookings. He negotiated sponsorship deals and made those guys millions in the 80s and 90s.

Zelina Vega should be an honorable mention. Her work in NXT converted Cien Almas from a relative nobody to mega star in less than a year.

If I remember correctly Heyman is Brock's Agent. I'm almost positive I can remember it being mentioned when Brock was in the UFC.
Heyman did accompany Brock to a UFC Press Conference or two as a “hype man” a couple times. Never as his actual booking/sports agent though.

I love Cornette. Even if you disagree with him on things I take that as a positive. I don't want someone to just agree with me, I want someone who has other ideas and good reasons for why they have them. Besides Corney just makes me laugh... Best manager ever though is Heenan, god that man was detestable to me when I was a kid and listening to his stuff as an adult is just fantastic.
