I can't wait to see your full review of the Avery tote. I did a little shopping recently and bought two Avery bags in medium, The mocha color and the saddle color. I also bought the almost perfect crossbody tote bag from Portland Leather Goods in cognac. Still waiting for them to get here but I would love to know your personal thoughts on the bags.
Thanks for another great video! I would love to see a comparison video between the Avery tote and the WP Standard vintage tote. They are both so beautiful it’s hard to decide!
I have both and they are both great. I can tell you the main differences are that the WP standard is a thinner leather (not less quality necessarily just thinner) so it flops more which can be good or bad. For me it's bad because even when you're carrying it it the upper sides tend to fold in or fold over. Also the WP handles are too long in my opinion. It falls lower down when carrying it over the shoulder which causes the straps to fall constantly. The Avery tote has the perfect length handles. I'm not sure what warranty the WP has by the corners are already wearing with minimal use. Avery is going strong. One other feature, Avery has the option to add feet on the bottom to protect it. Overall I prefer the Avery but both are good quality bags.
The Avery Tote was my first leather bag purchase over 2 years ago and I still love it! I love how it is wearing. It can get heavy if it is loaded but I tend not to carry too much anymore since all my babies aren't babies anymore. :(. But thanks for the review...I want more of them now.

I have experience with this fabulous company through listening to Bag Hound. She made me order the Avery Medium tote right away. I didn’t get any customizations because I loved the raw edges plus I didn’t add a pocket on the outside because it already comes with two interior pockets which is unheard of. I am now waiting on my “ Forest Green” mini crossbody to come. I cannot say enough about the owner, Nathan. He answers immediately if you have questions.
You look so pretty! Being a mommy agrees with you. I ordered the new Love41 crossbody in black today. The color & pullup look amazing! It's not a black black more like a taupe gray. LOL I have this same exact Go Forth Goods tote minus the zipper.

I have a black Avery tote with zipper closure I customized 2 years ago. It is a sturdy but extremely heavy. It was about 3 lbs when empty. But it takes a beating really well.
Thanks for sharing! I wonder how I'll feel about the weight of the tote after some use. I love love that it has a zipper. How often do you use your tote? Or is it in rotation with other bags (that's normally what i do)?
@@naomiyoshida7464 That is sad to hear... I could see myself putting it on my luggage with wheels making it easier to use while I travel. Or keeping heavy objects in a backpack and using this one for my carry one bag, filled with snacks and small essentials

I really want to know too! The leather is amazing - bought the roll top backpack in saddle, and just ordered a tote...but nothing on the site talks about the leather source. I think it does call it “oil tanned” - which makes me think Chromexcel or similar.(??)
Theresa Curtis I asked and you are right it is oil tanned!!! I was worried it might be chrome tanned too - glad it isn’t. I love the roll top backpack! Is it huge though? I just ordered the Kendal satchel in mocha, should be here soon. Can’t wait... Which tote did you order the slim or regular? I almost ordered the slim tote but was worried it would be to talk and narrow 🤷♀️ lol we need some reviews on this stuff.

ThePerfectLeatherBag I try to put the tote in rotation, but sometimes it’s too heavy when packed up, so it’s very rarely come out of my closet😣😔
