We started out me on guitar Rick on a Tambourine hitting the skin with drumsticks , to see him go from that to where he is now has been an amazing experience for me .Still a great guy , friend and very humble.
Wow Rick! I could listen all day to the lessons your life so far has taught/shown you. Finding the blessings and beauty in tragedy is absolutely what gets us through. Thank you so much for the important reminder that letting go of trauma involves giving ourselves the favour of not comparing ourselves to who we were before. Last week I had the amazing opportunity to view one of your paintings that I fell in love with up close and personal. It is the girl on the swing with the moon, and blue hues underneath. Gorgeous!!! I wish I could have run into you when I was at Planet Hollywood but hopefully another time. Enjoy the last few shows of the residency! I was so fortunate enough to be there for the 31st and 1st. You guys gave me and everyone that was there incredible memories to last our lives through.
Since the cop 👮♀️ and the nurse 👩⚕️ came upon the scene and saved Rick they ended up getting married 👰, the cop 👮♀️ and nurse 👩⚕️, and Rick being able to stand, and LIVE, See That Definitely was A MIRACLE FROM GOD ABOVE!!! GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!!!! AMEN 🙏!!! I Am So Very Glad U Lived!!!!
What happened to Rick was that he experienced a quick near death experience which was what he experienced by standing there out of his body, realizing what had happened and all the feelings in that moment.. Yes, It wasnt his time to go, God gave him another chance to live life and stay alive for a reason.
Ed Bernstein should have informed rick that the Aladian Theater he played in 1983 is no longer there and the rest of the hotel was imploded on the property he is at on where planet Hollywood stands today.
Huge respect and love for Rick Allen

John Richardson and still best friends. A great interview and it seems to be your fault he got the drums, good man.
Fabulous interview and great questions too.
Rick has no idea how inspirational he is. Truly remarkable human. As if being a rock star isn't enough.
Oh I think he does. He’s just a gentleman about it.
Always my favorite Leppard since I first saw him in '82 on MTV!

Rick Allen ....Class Act!
1981 remember drumming with his Union Jack shorts, shirtless, curly hair wailing away to Binging in the Heartbreak.
Wailing away to WHAT
Never seen them live, but i remember seeing clips of old tours with him in those shorts!
