  • This tutorial demonstrates parametric vase design in BeeGraphy. It begins by establishing the vase's profile with two circles. The first circle's radius is controlled by a "Diameter" parameter, and it's moved vertically using a "Move" and "Vector Z" node. The second, smaller circle, also derived from a diameter calculation, is positioned higher, its vertical displacement governed by a "Height" parameter. These circles define the vase's form when lofted together using the "Loft Surface" node. For the diamond pattern, the lofted surface is converted to a NURBS surface and then fed into a "Diamond Panel" node. "Count X" and "Count Y" parameters determine the pattern's density. The "Pipe" node adds depth to the diamonds, and by hiding the original diamond faces, the vase becomes hollow. Finally, material and color are applied to visualize the design, which can be dynamically adjusted using the configurator's sliders for "Diameter," "Height," "Count X," and "Count Y.
