The introduction to the video brought out the Beavis and Butthead in me uhhuhuh wood. On a serious note tho, I have a Kawai k-600 and recently I've noticed a change in its tone recently, when I purchased it, it had very little play time and I've now owned it for just shy of a year and it's play time is gradually getting higher. The change I've noticed is a softening of its tone and it's resonance of the lower octaves whilst the sustain pedal has also changed. I'm learning moonlight sonata atm and whilst sustaining the low B octave I noticed a almost organ like drone quality to it that I had never noticed before. I had to close my eyes and play it a few times and sit there whilst absorbing the sound from it. It was beautiful. My K-600 was built in 2018 so it's got a few years behind it now. Great video thanks and very relevant to something I was pondering on only yesterday.
Very interesting!
