It's like psychological hell going through parosmia, because you feel so isolated in your condition. I'm an adult and it's difficult enough but to see a child going through that is absolutely heartbreaking. I pray that she fully recovers soon. ❤️
I had the same thing when i had Covid last year. I didn't lose my smell, everything just smelled and tasted like it had been sitting on the counter for a couple weeks. I couldn't eat anything for a week. Came back though, thank goodness.
@@oliverb.8995 unseasoned pork and Mcdonalds quarter meat plain helped me recover before that only raw lettuce and sushi 11 months I had it heavily considered suicide couldnt eat anything everything even soap shampoo gasoline oil smelled like rotten food and chemicals combined it was weird
To me everything smelled like Unstoppable laundry beads. It was a constant sickening sweet smell. Lasted for six months straight and it even caused me to have an anxiety attack.
My life is just ruined. Nearly 1 year with faint strange smells, many things I can't smell and taste is sour, sweet, bitter etc. What to do and where is a cure ? I'm 29 yo...
@@Gornik92I’m also struggling since last year December. Everything tastes and smells nasty and weird.I’m still not cured from it. I went to the doctors and they told me to do smell therapy. I’ve done it for months and I still haven’t gotten it back. Is it too late for me to be cured 😢
@@Icyeecat smell therapy doesn't work for most long term cases. They are saying SGB is the best treatment for it right now ... Its terrible I'm still struggling ...
Awww, this must be so traumatic. I'd give up my freedoms to stop even 1 case of this. So far I've heard about 2 cases of this. Please repeal the constitution
11 months I dealt with this lost 80lbs and everyone around me immediate family and friends started rumors I was on meth I got so depressed I wanted to end my life all I could eat was raw lettuce and sushi anything cooked smelled and tasted horrible. I have had a couple scares since to where I smelt that horrible smell at random and I don't know what it was but I wouldn't wish that on anyone ever. I would like to have an update on this girls condition maybe I can help I was able to eat unseasoned pork and mcdonalds quarter meat after about 8 months of having it I believe helped me recover
I bought a nose clip and it helps a lot but I could still smell the disgusting smell the air goes through my mouth while I'm eating and reaches up my nose even with the clip I can still smell a bit

Absolutely agree. I’ve had it 3 years. I hate to see babies with it
