A Hawaiian lunch plate popular in Hawaii is loco moco. A hamburger patty and fried egg over rice all covered in gravy. You can find it at any Hawaiian restaurant like L&L. And if they have malasadas, Portuguese donuts also popular in Hawaii, give them a try.
I second the loco moco and malasadas! 🤤
Nicely lined out suggestions!
They actually have that at Tangaroa Terrace at breakfast! I wonder if they have been for breakfast, but I highly recommend. Everything is amazing. Served until 11am.
Pro tip from me, an Anaheim native whose dad was born and raised in Hawaii: the closest L&L to Disneyland is on Ball Road
I really appreciate this video in particular. It was a family tradition for my son's grandparents to take them to Disneyland and stay at the Disneyland hotel. Sadly both their grandfather and grandmother have passed away, but we loved to go through our old photos of our times here. This makes me feel closer to them.
We stayed at the Disneyland hotel a few months ago and fell in love !! We will never stay anywhere else ! During the summer you can enjoy drinks by the pool it was THE BEST !!
Thank you for always showing us every little place Disneyland has you guys always make it so magical bless you guys
It’s Magic Journeys time!!!! ❤❤❤ Thank you so much for featuring things we can check out outside of Disneyland! Tickets are so expensive 😅 but at least going to the hotel and downtown are free 😁
Another goofy’s kitchen video please 🙏🏽
Enjoy all your videos! Thank you ❤
Yes, breakfast!
Yes please! Peanut butter and jelly pizza?!? We need to see that!
Thank you for showing us the Disney Land Hotel! You two are so cute together! 💖✨
Goofy's Kitchen is FULLY back to normal.
I just went last week for brunch &, not only was the food amazing, but the characters were roaming to the tables.
It made me so happy that they were hugging, posing for pics, & doing autographs.
So, yes, you need a video!
I’ve been watching your guys channel since the beginning and every time it just gets me even more excited to revisit the parks and downtown Disney with the fam! Its been my favorite place since childhood ❤. Thanks for sharing all the goodies and giving us an insight of everything….YOU BOTH ARE GREAT 😊
I'm still in shock that I ran into you both before filming!! You two are a delight and I love watching your videos🤩Thank you for being the cherry on top for my birthday visit❤

Thank you guys for another great video!! The pineapple dole whip is my favorite Disney treat to enjoy!! I also liked the plaid Disney jersey at the end of the video… look forward to more great videos!!😃
Love this channel so much! Both of ur personalities are so great and fun to watch. Ur videos are my go-to now, even when I'm not planning my next Disney trip lol! Would def love to watch more videos of u guys even if it's not Disney related, :)
Try Duke's in Huntington Beach or Malibu. Their fish of the day is always delish and the Hula Pie for dessert. It is a chocolate cookie crumb crust, macadamia nut ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream. xo
Or in Hawaii!!
Thanks I will have to try.
Dukes is the best!
Goofy's Kitchen with Magic Journeys is definitely a must! ❤️❤️ Thank you, Cuties for sharing all the magic.🤗
I love you guys videos!! But I think you guys should do a video on the ins and outs of Disneyland!! Like and ultimate guide on Disneyland!! Like best time of the year to go, more bang for your buck meals, stuff like that!! I would really appreciate it❤
You guys are so calming. Love your videos no matter where you are.
Hi Magic Journey's,
I love this! We love to do the Hotel and look at all the memorabilia of Disneyland. Brings back moments in time when I and my husband were yoing and remember Disneyland. Love all the Merch and the delicious food. There used to be alot of picture areas like the way they set up inside Disneyland. Maybe they'll bring them back when they're done renovating. Love you two and Janelle love the Glamnetic nails! ❤💋👻🎃
I was so excited you guys posted those Disney foods look 😍
LOVE you guys! i love all of your videos. you should totally do a video about the Anaheim Packing District or other food surrounding the DLR ✨💗
You two make it look easy but it’s obvious a lot of time and effort goes into these videos. Great work.
You guys are awesome! I love your energy and videos 😊
Ugh thank you guys for these videos 😭❤️ I was just thinking about doing character dining at a hotel next time I go down to SoCal because sometimes Disneyland is too expensive but I still need to get that magical fix lol
Are you guys going to do a Knott's Scary Farm food guide this year?
Thank you for this! I've always been curious what the vibe was in each of these Disney hotels.
For Hawaiian food, kālua pig with cabbage and poi. For Hawaiʻi food, loco moco is a must! (In Hawaiʻi, the term "Hawaiian" is reserved for the indigenous people of Hawaiʻi.)
Yes - please do another Goofy’s kitchen video!!! I am hoping to go there early next year.
Great video guys! I need to try Tangaroa Terrace. I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel before and am so sad I never dined there! It's definitely on my list now. Also! I really appreciated how you guys highlighted the Salvadoran food truck, "Vchos" in your last video. I'm Salvadoran-American and really loved that
Love your videos, I never knew that we could go to the hotels and hang around! I always thought it was exclusive to guests, thanks for sharing :) I went to Downtown Disney last month and some friends I met up with at night said they met you guys! I was so jelly haha
Hi Magic Journeys! Good to see you! Disneyland hotel looks great! It is a great place to hang out. Tangaroa Terrace is a great place to eat or get a cocktail 🍹 Oh no where's the baby pineapples? I remember them in one of your previous videos. The food looks amazing! Enjoy! Yes that's awesome you can get a table and your food right away. Hippopota Mai Tai??? Wow! Drinks look delicious! Parking is expensive. I love the Fantasia Shop. Buy it Janelle! You are right the Magic is there at that store. Beautiful merch! Thank you so much for this video! It's another triumph for you Magic Journeys. Both so talented. I appreciate you. 😊😊😊
Thank you!! We’ll be there Veterans weekend for the kick off off the holidays🎄You have added a few more gems to our itinerary😄 Years ago, going over to the Disneyland Hotel when it was a monorail stop was something we always did. Once they changed it and added Downtown Disney, we haven’t been over there. Definitely going this time! Hope we see you in the Parks✨
Yay ❤🎉 thanks for the content 😊
This is so helpful! We’re staying at the Disneyland hotel for our daughters birthday trip, can’t wait to try all the foods!
The food looked so good I am going to have to try it😊
this place looks amazing and I love the platter idea
Thanks so much for this fun video! I always enjoy seeing your incredible energy, chemistry, and your talent for filming your Disney adventures, Yes, I would like to see you at Goofy's Kitchen soon...I'm also looking forward to your video from the Disneyland Hotel stay. I've never had the privilege of staying there but hope that I will someday.
Really enjoyed!! Always so lovely
We were there like 10 mins after you guys we saw you walking away! Love your videos ❤
I think this is such a cute video. I like that you guys were exploring things, that made me feel like that's how I would be if I was there. Sometimes it's nice to not be an expert. I also loved how natural your makeup looked. 💜
Just love these videos ❤
Hey Guys you always put out great video's! A favorite Hawaiian food (that i like❤️) you have to try is the Laulau. Its meat wraped in the laulau leaves and steamed for hours. Its soo Good 😋
you are now my favorite couple. i use to watch alot of another couple but they split there channels. keep it up.
This made my birthday! Thankyou!😇😇
So much Hawaiian foods to try. They really did the Kalbi plate right😻 love my Mac salad!
Oh my goodness! That is my best friend and her family sitting right behind McVee in the restaurant! We love your videos and always look forward to what food and treats to try at the parks! LOVE YOU GUYS!
I was going to ask about parking and then you mentioned it! Cool ty!
I really enjoy your videos. You now have a new subscriber. ☺️
Thank you so, so much, this made my day! I missed a dole whip float at Disneyland but I was able to relax with one at the hotel bar and take time to share it with my kids.
This was a great video. Never been over by the hotel or knew that you could visit stores there without renting a room
Just came back and already planning my next trip! There is much I still need to see.
It’s been a month since me and boyfriend stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for our anniversary and we loved staying at the hotel. We didn’t get to go to this restaurant but we will next time we go to Disneyland in the next two weeks! We will definitely try this place out. We are still sad our trip is over, and we are California residence lol! But he’s the rooms are a bit pricy. I agree with Janelle we go again it’s gonna be again at a later time. Hopefully the price doesn’t get so steep!
Such a nice experience ❤
This was such a great video guys. Goofy's Kitchen is such an incredible dining experience and I've been there several times. I love it when Disney characters walk around saying hello and posing for pictures. I would love to see you do a Goofy's Kitchen vlog. Your channel continues to improve every time I watch your videos!!
I’m ready for a goofy kitchen video ! 😊
You're right about the Disney stores. The 1990s were the pinnacle of interior designs for the Disney stores. These days, the stores and some of the restaurants are looking increasingly bland.
Thank you for sharing this awesome vid! You guys should definitely try L&L it has a lot of the Hawaiian staples!
Thanks so much for the walk around the Disneyland Hotel its been a hot minute since I’ve been there and the place still looks amazing and I will say you guys lucked out with the food you got and it looked so good I was salivating and to top it off with the drinks you got who could ask for more well I’m glad you had a great time and you didn’t even have to go in the park to have that great time so I thank you both for showing that you don’t have to go in the park to have an amazing time at the Disney resort now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you both and I’ll see you on the next awesome Magic Journey video peace ☮️ out ✌️
Hawaiian Mac salad🤤! It's one of my guilty pleasure too Mig Vee. I like to make Hawaiian plate lunches and I can never seem to make enough macaroni salad. It is so so good. Anyway you should try huli huli chicken. It's like teriyaki and bbq had a little baby. Savory and sweet. I make it a lot and, like the macaroni salad, it disappears like magic.
P.s. I think we all want to see you guys check out Goofy's kitchen again.
Wow I love the plaid mickey sweatshirt…they have such great merch in person!!
I love the old map when you first walk into the main lobby, instead of the haunted mansion overlay
I’m finally here early!!! I can’t wait to watch this! 🥺🥺🥺
THE DOLE WHIPS ARE SO GOOD!
Hi guys! Try Hula's Modern Tiki in AZ. They have a couple locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Absolutely AMAZING food and drinks. The kalbi short ribs and mac salad are out of this world! Look at their menu online and you'll want to order everything as you pack your car and head over for a little trip.
Thank you for your videos! I love them and your infectious smiles...and how you genuinely have so much fun in every vid. I hope to see you in the parks sometime. God bless!
Yes, please do a Goofy's Kitchen & a Story Tellers character dining video.
Miguel, it was great meeting you. Love the work! Re: Hawaiian food to try, you should get the loco moco whenever it’s on the menu. Check out L&L for a decent loco moco here on the mainland. Cheers!
I knew something was missing Mickie ears! Thanks for tour.
Good eye! I completely missed it
I saw someone mentioned the loco moco, and malasadas, but also the kalua pork is very good. I lived in Hawaii from 2005-2009 when we were stationed there. Every plate usually comes with the macaroni salad and rice. Then you pick your meats.. kalbi ribs, teriyaki chicken thighs, Kalua Pork are the most common. You guys should really go to Oahu &/or Auluani and check out all the good food! Also.. loved this video and showing off the Disneyland hotel and Tangaroa Terrace/ Trader Sam’s. Love hanging out there at night especially at night.
Looks so good
Thx you two! I remember Tangaroa Terrace being table service.. is the outside different, or has the whole thing changed?
Yes!! Pls we wanted to go when we get there lol🎉😂❤
you guys should try hawaiian foods like lau lau, kalua pig and spam musubis! those are awesome foods that we eat here in Hawaii!
I have not been on the DL Hotel property in years, I need to go check out that store for sure! Thanks for sharing!!! Last time I was visiting the hotel grounds The Lost Bar was still there, haha!
Just got back from Disneyland visit on Sunday, goofys kitchen was great. My 8 year old daughter really wants your autographs.
Loved this video
I've been to Hawaii since Small Kid Time, the one that always gets me now, is the Loco Moco! Hamburger party over rice with gravy and sunny side up egg. I get it now at L&L Barbecue. I went to the one in Cypress and then fly to Maui, it tastes the same, so da kine! At the Maui mall I went to, all of the locals were in a long line for L&L, the 4 tourists, malihini, went to McDonalds, lolos. Also, small kid, I ate at McDonalds by my hotel and they have so ono Portagee sausage, eggs, and rice, standard breakfast, you can find at any Hawaiian restaurant here.
Can vouch for Tangaroa Terrace's breakfast - their loco moco breakfast burrito is incredible!
Yes please recheck Goofy's Kitchen.
Love your blogs,
Suzy 😍
So much to do with out staying there!! However, when I stayed there, in June it was less hectic an mmmmmmm. We stayed in the Adventureland tower... not too much issues/view of the construction!
Re: DVC tower, anyone can stay in DVC rooms! You could book there as a non-member, but it might be tougher to get a room and more expensive if you book directly with Disney. You can also save money by renting DVC points, as a non-member.
At Trader Sam’s the waitress called it “The 5 Tikis” so I started using that name too. It’s my favorite drink!
Love ❤️❤️❤️
We are staying there in November. I can’t wait I haven’t been back to Disneyland in 5 years
Great video!!!
Great video! Just like home! Broke da’ mouth!
Great video now I’m hungry 🤤
You 2 always get me spending more
Money with all the foods we see you eat and then I want to try them. But it’s all good. It’s the way of the Foodies!! This is the way 😅 lol
I always go to Uva Bar at Downtown Disney to eat because the food is always really good. But I've never dined at the Tangaroa Terrace. The Pu Pu Platter looks really delicious along with that cocktail. I also love going to Fantasia Shop. It's been a while since I've been to the store but I'm also glad it still has the 90s feel to it. I hope it doesn't change and they leave it the way it is.
Aloha, I’m actually from Hawaii, but live in what is called the 9th Island aka Las Vegas, due the multiple people who live here that are from Hawaii. Foods to try include Laulau, Kalua pig and cabbage, pipi kaula, poi, haupia and traditional poke. Lots of Hawaiian restaurants in Las Vegas. Popular ones are at the California Hotel, but believe me we have choke (plenty) here. More mix plates to try are loco moco, chicken katsu, ginger chicken, teri beef and teri chicken. You must eat it with sticky rice and Mac salad with chili pepper water or shoyu (soy sauce). Malasadas are Portuguese donuts and popular in Hawaii. Saimin and spam musubis are also a must. We say it’s ono when it’s good. Hawaii is a melting pot of ethnicities hence the reason for all kinds of foods. You have Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Filipino, just to name a few.
I absolutely love your channel and all the foods you two try. Love your Hawaiian shirts too. Mahalo Nui Loa. Thank you very much.
The food looks yummy!
Love tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki rum! My favorite drink at Trader Sam’s. Could you do a similar vid for Grand Californian? Thanks for another great vid!😊
My boyfriend and I love Disney. I recently got him into your videos and I was shocked he watched this one without me 😂!!! I’m so happy though. We love to watch together!
The hawaiian meat is called kalbi (cow-bee) and its the best thing you couldve chosen next to a traditional manapua with charsu inside!
My favorite place for family style in Hawaii is Side Street Inn at Honolulu but as for snacks, I would go for malasadas or animal crackers. I have family in Hawaii so we go almost every year. I can list so many reccomendations.
You should try kalua pork, laulau, or beef stew. You can get some of it at King’s Hawaiian. There might be places in Torrance and Anaheim that make pretty good “local” food as we call it. Fried saimin, shave ice, and oxtail soup are also must haves when visiting Hawaiian
Aloha Magic Journeys, you need to come to Hawaii and try all the foods here. Very good and authentic. Hope y'all come on down to Hawaii!
I love ur content
