Love the color changing lights! We have switched over to LED in all our light fixtures including outdoor patio lights and we like using dimmer switches too. Great job!
Thanks - I just bought this today and am an old lady trying to change this out myself. Fun. I see your comment about the ground wire. It sounds like though you are saying to get an electrician to install so you don't blow up your house? It seems fairly easy though and I have a voltage meter.
Does the light only go into night mode when you do the sequence of ON/OFF/ON or does your light turn on in night mode every other time you turn on the light switch? I want to buy these lights for the night light feature but seems like it would get annoying to have to toggle every time if the latter.
I have this same question. Want to install in closet in baby's room but want the option to turn on just the night light portion if needed to avoid waking him up.
Yay!!! Congratulations in advance!!! Yes indeed, they are very nice. My family loves it 'cos it gives that hotel ambiance especially in the hallway. Thanks for taking your time on watching our review. Happy Holidays from our family to yours.😊
Great light but every time I turn it on it’s either regular or night lite. You would think it would always turn on regular and then a separate way to put on night light. Maybe I installed it wrong
Hello! No ground wire just cap it and put it in the junction box only postive and Neutral it's a plastic fixture no need to ground it. And Neutral goes to the same location as ground in the main breaker panel. Thank you for watching my review. 😊
@@chefmyx Thank you. Great review. Just installed mine. Doesn’t work unfortunately as I have a lutron caseta dimmer. I think they are incompatible. Unfortunately I have to return it.
Hello, sorry for the late response. Yes. Definitely. Typically, in a garage, they have 2 light fixtures with normal 60 watt condescent bulbs. These LEDs will not only save you $$ but they will also last probably 20x longer than a regular light bulb. Just depending on your light preference. Have a happy Thanksgiving!😊 -Seabolt Family
I like the night light feature but wish I could control it seperately and put the night light part on a timer or have a light sensor turn it on when it gets dark.
I think these lights look good and they may appear cheap enough to buy. However, there is a downside to them and in the long run, they will cost you lots more money in relation to the original light you took down. Most of these things only run for around 20,000 to 30,000 hours and many people think that is a long time. It's not and in reality, if you were to have the light on 8 hours a day which most people certainly would they will not last longer than 1 year. Whereas the light bulb you took down originally most likely would have lasted 3 to 5 years.
@@JM.TheComposer @LeeLucas not to mention... This flush mount is lasts up to 50,000 hours.... with the light on 8 hours that gives you 17 years lol...
@@joehlas3537 yeah you're right, it wouldn't fit on pan box but I think you can buy some extention rings to accomodate having more depth or you would have to change the whole junction box. Thanks for watching my review. -Charlie

What did you do with the ground wire ? Cause the light doesnt come with it
Same reason I’m here.
awesome review and install, question what if my ceiling fixture has no neutral can I still install these lights
You have to have a neutral wire and I think you meant the ground wire (green or bare copper )

Toggle the wall switch quickly within 2-seconds to change from the main light mode to night light mode
The default is always the main center light. From there u turn the dimmer/switch off and back on and the nightlight feature comes on
I have to flash my eyes to blind in the night so that I can turn on night light?
I have this same question. Want to install in closet in baby's room but want the option to turn on just the night light portion if needed to avoid waking him up.
Would a 3-way switch work with this, so you'd get individual settings for off, night light, on?
Yes it work on a 3 way switch set up also
how did you fix it to the ceiling after connecting the wires lol
Great review considering these lights once we close on our home. Very affordable!

I wonder how the switches looks like to activate the nightlight

What kind of switches do you have?
Did u connect the ground wire?
What do you do when it burns out??
Does the 14" light buzz when on?
@chefmyx have you had any problem with the lights burning out since you have had them? Thank you in advance.
No we haven't..☺️
I’m looking for same lights with live load and neutral in 6 inch .can I find it anywhere? If so please help with the links
Love it!
Do all Led flush light comes with night mode ?
Do you think 2 light fixtures of this one can illuminate a 2 car garage in my house?

We wish that as well. I believe they sell something like that now though.
Come on! I wanted to see hiw you connected the light. That's where I'm struggling...too many wires, I can't lock in the light. Ugh!
You only need to worry about two wires White Neutral and Black Hot the copper ground wire is not used since its a plastic fixure.
how are you toggling between the regular light and the night light?
Hi! You toggle it by turning on and off. Turn it off then back on, it will be the regular light, turn it off and on again for the night light.😁
@@chefmyx hi. Does it work every time you switch it off and turn it on even after a while ?
So the night light stays on all the time once the switch is in off position?
No, you can turn them off completely. You turn off the light, turn it back on for regular light or night light. 😊
@@chefmyx oh I see thank you very much kind sir
@@chefmyx I tried that but mine went from regular light to regular light, back to regular light and then to regular light.
Thinking about getting these but do yiu have to buy a whole new fixture when they go out? Or can you change out the leds?
You can't change out LEDs, you'll need to buy new fixture when they go out. But LED's should last.
Yep bought ours in October, burned out in August 😢
Can you make work 2 light at the same time?
If you are talking about the night light and regular light at the same time, the answer is no.
Thank you for watching! :)

Your math is off. 365 days * 8 hrs per day = ~3,000 hrs, not 30,000 hrs.

and what kind of switch can be used for those lights
How does he actually mount the fixer to the cealing without the light hanging?
Yes I'm an idiot.
It's a twist lock plate that secures the light to the ceiling. It's an easy install.😊 Thanks for watching my review.
