I think he likes that she's honest and hard to get and has developed some obsession with her. And I would have preferred it if Xavier was hurt or even hated her at the end. Then next season there could have been a scenario where they have to work together and reconcile with each other. We could have had actual relationship development. Instead the writers copped out and had Xavier forgive Wednesday and give her a phone so they can keep in touch. (Even though Wednesday hates technology...which shows it was more for his own interests than hers) That makes me think they will start season 2 with her and Xavier as friends and we won't actually see their friendship develop. (Wednesday and Enid worked because we actually saw the friendship development). Idk...I'm hoping either they bring in a new love interest or Tyler somehow redeems himself despite being the Hyde. So perhaps Xaviar will be that partner in crime, slow burn/build, that has her as his muse.
