Dont feel bad about taking a minute to really appreciate Chance. It took some of us a minute, too. I picked Home Free up from The Sing-Off, so it took a few songs for him to sound "right" to me. And I know I wasn't the only one. But now he's part of the family, and I wouldn't want to hear HF without him.
As always, the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific. Adam often wears a bandana so people don't realize how long his hair is. I don't think there's anything they haven't done with Austin's hair (buns, a ponytail, pigtails in "Remember My Name", a pompadour, French braid . . .).Thanks for playing this - Rob has such a gorgeous, clear voice!
This was the song that the judges were hard on to Rob! I think they especially wanted to give it back to Rob on that 1st verse because there wasn’t a second verse in the sing off. They wanted to probably emphasize how good Rob really is and put it out there for them to see and how much behind Rob they are! I liked this song from original artist but I love Home Free’s version and with Adam’s verse and Tim’s tag it is fantastic! A fan, low bass Kenneth

Doublechecked; I was and am subscribed. Love Home FrYdays! Several years ago, HF recorded Colder Weather (with Chance singing v 2), so I couldn't see how HF could make it better, but, dang, did they! My favorite part was the beautiful run Austin did just before Tim's solo. However, all five sounded great! This version is a favorite!

What a wonderful song this remains. Every time I not only hear it, but I feel it too! Every part of every member is amazing! The video is also so beautifully done. Yet a tear flows down my cheeks. I think of my partner who had his birthday on December 25, but died unexpectedly in January 2019 at the age of 60. But I hope that he has finally found the peace where he is now that he cannot find here on earth.

According to the guys, they couldn't decide who was going to sing the lead on it so they were going to take turns to see who sounded best. Rob went first and the guys all said "Nope. We aren't even going to try. It's Rob's song now." And it is one of my favorites. Not many people react to it, watching "End of the Road" for a Rob lead but in my opinion, "Catch Me if you Can" is better by a long way! BTW, my husband likes that hat but to him it is a Billy Jack hat from the old 70s movie "Legend of Billy Jack"

Nothing wrong with saying hark back - it's a perfectly cromulent expression. 😉 And Jeremy, we could tell you had become a Chancer (or whatever the name for it is), but great to hear you say it. I feel like vocalists in the baritone and alto slots get a lot fewer opportunities to stand out than the designated tenors and sopranos (low basses just punch you in the gut to get some attention anyway), so it's not surprising people (including me) take a while to "discover" members like Chance or Cesar. So long as we get there in the end, everything's golden.
