Okay, I had to do it, but JTMitchell was right, looking up Nexus Maximus on google without typing Transformer at the end makes a huge difference in the result. That was hilarious, and thanks for the warning.
The combined head platform detatches because in the first version of the mold, Energon Barricade, the plastic was breaking too easily from how tight it was. To prevent that, they changed it so the piece comes off.
the name DID get changed to nexus prime and from hasbro themselves that the name on the instructions is now wrong. btw it is NOT damaged EVERY VERSION of this toy does this, its a safety feature to that id doesnt break, DO NOT GLUE IT!!! you will end up breaking it if you do.
If you ever get Steamhammer he works great as the torso. Before Heatwave arrived I had them as the limbs for Construction Maximus and it was really stable and looked offensive hanging off the bright green body. My Heatwave suffers the same problem as I told you, but I think thats the way it was made.
I just got Heatwave this weekend. (Bought it as the cheapest way to use the Fansproject bits!) Had the third limb for my one year of TFCC membership, bought the other 2 when a member, got Topspin a couple months back for 15 dollars at a toy shop. My HWave had no docs so I had to DL the E Barricade ones. I sort of guessed at limbs and mine is almost exactly like the video! Cept the legs are flipped. I really like the set overall, though I don't use Baway's bit. Looks more like guns.
I almost forgot. Another of the "Confirmed" First 13 TFs is "Logos Prime", whose toy is, surprisingly, Galaxy Force Soundblaster (The Black Soundwave repaint)
Peaugh's Nexus Maximus's head does the same thing as yours, and Peaugh also said in his review that his original Barricade from Energon do the same thing
i have the normal version of skyfall,quickstrike, and if you unfold the gun, and pull out the handle then put the handle in this peg hole just behind the cockpit it looks much better.
I think this guy should have been in Transformers energon with the autobots so then in that virtual battle the robo chick says in the blue corner Constructicon and Bruticus Maximus and in the red corner Nexus and Superion Maximus
Here's one other question. Once the war began, was Nexus Maximus done for? I ask this because I'm wondering if like since they all combine they were all like "Oh well we all combine and we're all friends. so let's just not get involved in this war." Or were they like "Man forget you! I will never combine with you again! Autobots rule Decpticons drule! Nexus Maximus is off-line!" And JTMitchell87, if you don't know the answer to this question, that's perfectly fine. I'm just really wondering.

these were the best combiners they made i think anyones got to admit these merge figures are getting weaker and weaker the new ones dont even make robots..go go power rangers cant wait for the samurai mezazord to go on sale at least its twice a bigg and can hook a lobster to it...i miss the energon series i thought they shuold have made more...what hollywood films do to our beloved transformers..drones suck

I kid you not, it took me over 12 years to complete this. Skyfall was the final one I needed but didn't bother since 2011.
That combiner head is supposed to pop off like that. Not damaged at all.

that isn't broken, it just has the same problem as classics 2.0 smokescreen. the pin joint is uncovered so you dont break it off.
