No physical buttons on the dash? Physical buttons and no touch screen is one of the reasons I chose my Mazda 3, please don't fall into these fads and trends Mazda, stay making great driver focused cars. And keep making hatchbacks and saloons, please!
Idk why auto makers are getting rid of physical butting on the dash for the screen yet giving buttons in other places. When driving the driver needs to be able to feel controls and not look directly at them or “see by touching”. So real buttons for things often used like volume and climate controls shouldn’t go away. Same with heated and/or ventilated seats and switching drivetrains(2wd/4wd/sport mode/ etc) anything u would use in the moment or immediately when it’s decided upon shouldn’t be hidden behind a page in a tab on a screen. With screen buttons so small u need visual accuracy to press.
Id buy this thing in a second. I love how it looks, and the fact that it’s a sedan shape, but with a practical hatch back. But no, all we get is wranglers and rams and shit.
@@GaryKetchum808This type of car is called a liftback, it bridges the gap between a hatchback and notchback sedan. Since you liked it, just wanted to share the specific term for it. Another current example of a liftback would be the Acura Integra.

@isferfun3909 yes I do my own servicing, change oil and filters. I carry it to my mechanic if I need the brakes changed but that is not often. If your getting one stay away from the Diesels
@isferfun3909 I can't speak on the cx90 since it's one of the newest so you will have to do your research but I do like them. In my opinion Toyota has the best hybrid technology but since Toyota now owns 20% of Mazda and are sharing technologies I think it's a good bet

I don’t own a Mazda CX-5. Holding off till the release of the Hybrid version and facelift in 2026. I HOPE the 2026 CX-5 has a similar interior to the EZ-6 having a large infotainment touch screen and also keeping physical buttons for A/C and Router dial. The current CX-5 Akera is still very nice but really needs a change.
@@fmsp8596 Well there were no physical buttons on this EZ-6 from what I saw on the video. It looks like just the touch screen and two things underneath that could be cup holders or just decoration, but definitely not the AC controls.
Man we need this in the us I mean the front end would need to change for the us market but tbh this looks really nice there’s no real luxury affordable ev rn
Ambient lighting, "zero gravity" seats, all sueded interior, built-in scent diffuser, 15-speaker Bose, this car is more luxurious than any current Mazda offerings in the US. Who cares if it's a reskinned Chinese EV with a bit of Mazda powertrain tuning?
Sorry but don't Teslas not even have a gear selector? They do it through the screen, as far as I know. The gear selector is taken directly from Mercedes, it is EXACTLY the same as the one on my car.
What are you talking about, this looks nothing like a mazda except for the lights. Everything else, especially the interior is entirely different. This car isn't even technically a mazda.
Please don't get rid of physical buttons! One of the things that makes Hyundai's Ioniq lineup so compelling is their blend of physical and touch buttons
у них не было конкуренции никакой от китайцев. китай пошел в технологии -- эти старперы, наконец, зашевелились. но увы и ах этим ни в россии, ни в китае уже не удивить никого

no physical buttons is a weird trend, prolly for money and that beep every time u open and close trunk is a no go for me. sounds like a forklift backing up

Too late mate 😅
Dash mounted buttons are overrated
It's not really a Mazda. Basically a rebadged car
This is a rebadged Chinese car. Not a Mazda designed car. I have a Mazda3 as well. I like the rotary knob control for the infotainment.
Yes the control buttons are why i choose it as well. It just works.
It's a re-skinned Deepal L07. Deepal is a subsidiary of Changan Automobile.
I'm glad you said that. I know it's a Mazda in a familiar sense, but it definitely feels more Chinese than Mazda
@salocin911 ikr? It felt off when I first saw it then confusion followed.
Does it still come with Sony speakers in the reskinned Mazda version?
@JacksonWalter735 yes.
Yes it's a chinese car with mazda logo because mazda has not developed a competitive EV platform yet.
Gear selector is Mercedes. Seats are from Volvo. Steering wheel is from Volvo. Center console from Mercedes. Seat controls from Volvo
Very true
😂😂😂😂😂I’m glad I’m not the ONLY one who noticed this!!☝🏾
What else can they do well apart from copying 😅
Volvo is china now :)

Mazda keeping traditional features for their gas engine models - this is an electric model made by a Chinese manufacturer.
同意!
Is that gear switch from old Mercedes?
it looks identical to the shift on the W212 - my favorite Benz of all time.
my thoughts exactly. I believe i also saw it in the new Ram trucks
Yep. Have it on my merc. I really like it. Just takes time to get used to, coming from a vehicle with the wipers there
Yes and they still use it.
current mercedes still use it…… what u talkin bout

Mazda or Changan?
Nice, it's a Deepal L07 with a "mazda" badge glued in
USA 🇺🇸 opinion here (I’m a huge Mazda fan btw)
As long as this rides “lifted” like the Toyota Crown - it has at least a niche market
