I was present on the feast day of St Anthony with my husband in 2011. It was a moving celebration, the streets were lined with people and the huge statue of St Anthony was out on the street in a procession.That little town also has a holiday. Will visit again when the Covid restriction are lifted.
Because of covid, it is two years now that we don't have our procession of St. Anthony in our city. Heartbreaking as it began with an outdoor Mass because of the amount of people. However, Please pray for my church of St. Anthony's as the priests are Servites. Forgive me, but in all honesty, they don't have a converted heart. Some are unapproachable which is not a benefit for parishioners. May St. Anthony remind them of their calling to the priesthood and the day of their beautiful ordination. St. Anthony, pray for us, as you are the saint of miracles!
