Why Cant I Tag Everyone in my Facebook Group

- There are a couple reasons why you can’t tag everyone in your Facebook group. The size of your group might also play a roll on if you can tag everyone in the group or not. Once Facebook groups reach a certain size they do not allow to tag everyone. The Facebook algorithm doesn’t want you to have the ability to tag so many people at once. This might be seen as a nuisance and Facebook just doesn’t allow it.
If you have a smaller Facebook group, you can easily tag everyone by using the @everyone tag. All you have to do is create a new post and tag everyone using that symbol. The group will show you if it’s going to allow it because it will show up when you do that everyone tag. If it doesn’t show up then that means your group is not allowing you to do it.

This only works when Facebook feels like it. My group has only 550 people and some days this feature won't pop up no matter how many times I try and some day it pops up first try. Facebook has turned into shit once they started charging for Ads and all they care about is ad revenue
Nope that's definitely not the case. Facebook is now being extremely selective on who and when you can use this feature. At times it won't show up for weeks on end and then other times it will show up out of no where when I don't even want it to. So I am thinking actually it's a bug inside FB that needs fixing because my @everyone feature isn't working and hasn't been for the past 2-3 months

@@michellep71 I had the same and it came back randomly after a couple of months. In all honestly the @ function isn't that effective anymore.

Mine disappeared too. I’m now left with @followers which doesn’t seem to work. My @everyone worked well to start with but then, like some of you, I lost it altogether 👿

Not accurate. We've also noticed that adding @everyone in the post doesn't reach your full audience as adding it in the comments. Our group is 100k and we have this feature enabled.
I was able to tag everyone in my last post (a RUclips video) but now it won’t tag everyone. Once I click post the hyperlink disappears and I know it’s not tagging everyone.
Yea I’m thinking Facebook is getting a lot of pushback on this feature.

Sometimes my groups will allow me to tag everyone and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s like Fb chooses when they will let me use it.
I only have 480 members and I have been @everyone lots .. do you think that could be the issue ?

It is evident that it is not functioning properly in my group. I have been unable to use it since its arrival.
Can't use the feature in any of my groups, by any of my accounts - it used to work and now it doesn't even exist. I'm so pissed off now. I do that once every month (at most) and now when I really need people to see it, it isn't there.
YEP same here! Literally there's no reason as to why this should happen when you have had it working in the past. Mines the same I would tag people once a month as well and now the features just gone and I can't use it at all anymore. I think it's a bug inside FB that hasn't been fixed yet but I am very upset as well that this feature has made my life easier and then just stopped working
@@TRUTHBEYONDPARANORMALOFFICIAL I found out what was wrong. Check your profile. If you have been restricted from advertising, you cannot tag people (*even from the pages you are admin to, if you are logged in as administrator from that profile).
Oh I see, So if you've been restricted from advertising even in the past I assume? You cannot use that feature? I have been restricted I think once before from being able to do ads. Is that the issue then? That is extremely annoying. I wonder if you add another profile on to the account and have that as admin if you can use it that way?
@@TRUTHBEYONDPARANORMALOFFICIAL one of my Facebook profiles (*my main personal profile) is permanently restricted from advertising. Not my fault, though. Someone hacked my profile at some point and ran an ad for purchases. It was declined BUT when I was prompted to prove identity, my ID was rejected by the automatic system. I had been in communication with Facebook support for three months (*like phone, mails etc.) and they at least unblocked the page from where that absurd ad had been run. At the time, I didn't have a single ad. I had never even run ads. So, Facebook support told me there is a bug in their ID recognition system (*tweaked for US IDs at the time) and that has locked out thousands of people. A major update is needed to fix that, so it would take months. The solution - I created a second profile to run ads on my pages from. Not great, but still something.
That's a nightmare situation for you to be in I am sorry this happened to you. Does the everyone feature work on your other profile?

You want the real answers,... I have them,.... 1: EDIT: You can't tag more than 50 individual members in a post,... you can tag an unlimited amount of members with @everyone as far as I know. 2: You can't just post, or comment @everyone. There must be a sentence, or something also included,.... 3: Make sure there is nothing touching the @everyone on either end. Make sure there is a clean space on both ends, or it will not produce it properly. I just @everyone successfully in a group with 450+ hockey players in it after spending three more hours trying to figure it out how after watching this video. Thanks for the video, stay safe @everyone lol. ;D
1) incorrect. I have 5K members and everyone worked fine until last month.
@@VladOnEarth Yup, it is. I tag 450+ daily in my group now. Did it a few hrs. ago. Got it all figured out now. Will edit that, thanks. EDIT: I tried when I couldn't get the @everyone working before. This is how I know, and found the rule listed also.

@Chuter44 this video was not about tagging individual people, it's about using @everyone tag, and I assumed you respond to that. For individual I have no idea, havent tried to tag that many manually.
