Just keep in mind most of maps and mods that are in the marketplace are not just janky low quality map, the creator actually put lots of effort to publish their work. This is nowhere far from the concept of payment in PlanetMinecraft website where you have to pay for 10$ for a single map only

Tbh if something is added to bedrock but not Java you can be pretty much the 100% sure it was added because Microsoft requested it. If the devs actually liked the idea they would put it in Java too
I wish Minecraft would take tips from the community like getting rid of the mob vote and getting rid of microtransactions in bedrock edition, so many more people would love the game
Ok, literally nobody isn't playing the game because of the transactions it's not like they are shoving it up your face either. They can't get rid of the transactions because it's what's fueling the company.
@@spicylemon2623 they kinda are though, to get anything besides the vanilla experience on bedrock 90% of the time you have to pay for it, everytime you boot up the game you see a new crossover or featured pack that is being advertised. And although the game still has a lot of players the player base is far from its peak.
All I'm saying is that if microtransactions were removed and their was more communication between the developers and player base the game would be making more money from new players and players would find the game to be 10x better

If I'm not mistaken, there are a few huge colabs like sonic httyd and so many more that are only on marketplace

And the stuff in the marketplace always feels cheap and over priced I mean they just added add ons a few weeks ago so before that you had to buy one world and could only play in that or the texture packs are glitchy making some items look huge minecraft has fallen off
if you want, go enjoy your $12 purchase on only one map, while there are hundreds of thousands of free mods, maps, datapacks, etc, on java, which some that are better than the "huge collabs".
Go waste your money if you enjoy it, it's your choice after all.

And if you're stuck on console, here are some of my solutions:
Buy Legacy edition. If you're on Xbox One make sure you're buying the Xbox One edition. The snakes at Microsoft made it so that the 360 edition isn't backwards compatible. Same for playstation. *BUY A SECON DHAND COPY, NOT A DIGITAL ONE. MINCROSOFT NOR MOJANG AIN'T GETTIN SHlT 🔥🔥🔥*
Option 2: homebrew your console
Homebrew and then get Legacy edition via USB stick, OR you can donwload some community made MC thing (I haven't homebrewed my Xcocks yet if you couldn't tell). IDK how to homebrew on PS so goodluck to you

There is websites for bedrock edition for high quality mods, there is a small but really creative community of mod and map creators on bedrock, mainly people that played console edition.
MCPEDL is the main website, but some bedrock creators also use curseforge.
Also PojavLauncher is a Java launcher for mobile with limited mod support but you can download maps and use any version of the game, but you must own java edition or have game pass.

What are you on? Tablets just go into touch to turn it back to the d pad, and anything else just goes into options and controls. There are lots of tutorials on how to change it if you have the attention span, which I doubt.

1.16 and 1.18 got us entirely new terrain generation, new biomes mobs and mechanics, tons of new blocks.
1.19 introduced the biggest structure in minecraft, new light sources, wireless redstone, new mobs and some very useful mechanics.
1.20 Introduced archeology along with some highly requested features such as interactable bookshelves, a mob that can be ridden by two players, cherry trees, bamboo wood and cosmetic modification for armor as well as a new light engine.
1.21 So far has a new structure , the auto crafter which has been highly requested, spawners that give rewards and reset, containers that have unique loot for each player, more block variations for copper and tuff, new mobs, wind charges, a new light sources that doubles as a t flip-flop, wolf armor(though that's getting realed before the update) and more is to be revealed.
I can go in even more detail but I think this is enough to say that the recent updates are in no way insignificant.
Instead of adding substantial updates they lock stuff behind this

Wrong this is like Xbox game pass but for the market place worlds. Think of it as paying like $10 or however much it is to get monthly access to a portion of already existing Minecraft marketplace content

This should be included With the Minecraft Realm's subscription or Xbox Game pass not be it's own separate subscription Pass
Important reminder: Mojang had hidden away a developer edition of Minecraft Bedrock and only given it to Marketplace Developers. They accidentally released a developer edition, but then patched it in another update and lied that the features were not possible to implement despite clearly working in the developer version. The developer edition had op modding tools like AI behavior modification and even multiple F3 menus. They could have cultivated a modding community that is just as strong as Java's but instead locked it behind closed doors.
When the version was rediscovered by the public, Mojang falsely striked people using various excuses such as "stylized logo" or "unauthorized gameplay". Marketplace partners like Compycraft also assisted in the censorship of the videos.
They wanted to get rid of developer edition so badly that just mentioning the existance of it could get your video striked
It was so bad that Mojang's legal team hunted underground communities like in Discord that just discussed about developer edition. They purged discord servers and tried to shadowban
Thankfully Antvenom made the video exposing Mojang, but Mojang still didnt compensate for the false strikes
